I like Q. Rania’s style. It’s distinctive and interesting. The pink outfit looks a bit dressy for the occasion, but otherwise I think she looks great. (V.M.)

What a lovely dress, and with the hairdo up, it doesn’t get too much, with the pink romantic impression. Love it!
And what a contrast with the black suit, different and cool, love the sleeves and the wide pants! Suits her very well as well. Like the fact that she is not wearing a traditional suit, which can be sometimes boring and plain.

What a beautiful skirt and top Queen Rania is wearing. If the skirt was shorter, and I know it would be difficult with the appliqué flowers, it would be much more beautiful. Now it is too long to be short (midi) and too short to be long.

  4. It may sound boring to repeat the same comment "lovely outfit", it is NOT, it is simply true. The lady wife of Prime Minister is quite nice as well.

Both ladies look stunning. Queen Rania's pink dress seems inspired by Japanese cherry blossoms. I am glad she is visiting Japan. It is a pity that none of the Japanese Imperials are guiding her. We didn't have anything like this in the Heisei era.
But I hope they enjoy their stay.

The season for cherry blossoms is over in Tokyo so Queen Rania decided to bring her own. The dress is evening wear to me and is not on par with Mrs Kishida´s elegant suit. I wonder what the occasion of their meeting was and what dress code.
    The black suit is stunning

The pink outfit reminds me of 'Sakura' time - cherry blossom season in Japan. Perhaps that's why Rania chose it. She looks great in it and I'm glad that she opted out of having the flowers on the neck/collar.
I also like the black suit.
I'll say this for Rania: her choice of clothes is never boring. She experiments with new styles and different looks, and 99% of the time she looks great in whatever she chooses.
I also like the Prime Minister's wife's suit. It is a very nice fit and style for her.

  9. Pour cette visite officielle au Japon, la reine Rania a su amener dans ses bagages différentes tenues tout à fait tendance dont celle lilas qui donne une touche rafraîchissante ! L'épouse du premier ministre n'est pas mal non plus !

Wow, both Queen Rania amd Mrs Kishida look beautiful. That pink looks spectacular on her. While it's quite dressy, it's not over the top. And Mrs Kishida's suit looks perfectly tailored and classic. Queen Rania's dark suit is also fantastic, great modern shape. Love the red shoe with it as well.

Both ladies look stunning in their pink dresses, one more playful the other more serious. The black suits on both ladies are looking very nice and elegant. Rania's splash of little color with the red shoes is fun. css

  12. The pantsuit looks fabulous, very stylish and chic, it fits well. The dress is nice, I am not sure about the appliqué flowers, its busy looking regardless the Queen looks beautifully groomed.
Mrs Kishida skirt and jacket looks splendid, well put together.

Both ladies look elegant in very different styles--the soft pastel pink is a wonderful color for Queen Rania. I like both dresses. I like Rania's pantsuit but so wish the trouser legs were not so wide (when will this trend end???). Her red shoes are perfect!

The pink outfit is just 'too much' for the occasion. Maybe for a summer party, but not for this occasion.

Agree with you. The dress itself is exquisite and original but seems out of place for this occasion - as you say for a summer party it would be perfect. The black suite however is just super chic and modern with a business like touch - gorgeous.

The pink dress with appliqué flowers is too juvenile on Rania. It makes her look like a girlfriend at a Spring garden wedding. The black suit is very sophisticated and she looks sharp. Not sure about the red shoes.

I must say that every time I see Queen Rania’s outfits during this visit to Japan I think she is overdressed and seems to outshine her hosts. Perhaps intentionally so, difficult to tell, but in view of the sartorial “restrictions” at the Japanese court and similar surroundings, I find her approach inappropriate and ill-advised. Her “sharp” look (love that expression) is irritating.
