President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, and First Lady Brigitte Macron are making a state visit to the Netherlands. Queen Maxima and Brigitte Macron visited a walk-in centre for young people in Amsterdam. There, they received more information about issues relating to young people’s mental health and about the objectives and chosen approach of MIND Us. The Queen and Mrs Macron then visited the Anne Frank House.
Afterwards, Dutch Queen Maxima and the French First Lady Brigitte Macron visited the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens. Keukenhof (Kitchen garden), also known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the world's largest flower gardens, situated in the municipality of Lisse.
Afterwards, the King and Queen, President Macron and Mrs Macron visited an exhibition on artist Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, at the invitation of Prime Minister Rutte. The exhibition involves the largest number of works created by Johannes Vermeer ever to have been displayed together. After visiting the exhibition, Queen Maxima and Brigitte Macron had dinner with several women executives during a boat trip.
Maxima looks good in her different red outfits. I wonder,whether Brigitte Macron's hair really is her own hair. It looks strange. She doesn't look chic in her blue pantsuit and her black dress is very strange.

حذفI must say i agree with Anna. Brigitte Macron’s posture is not elegant. Standing with open legs is not very ladylike especially if she is wearing a dress or a skirt.
Check any book or look at any culture, in many cultures, women have been socialized to sit and stand with their legs together as a way of demonstrating modesty, grace, and respectability.

حذفI´ll start with the positiv. Mme Macron´s yellow coat is very nice and the whole look with slim pants and pumps is very chic. Black evening wear are both good. Each to their own style. Maxima´s red coat is beautiful. Very well tailored. Unfortunately I can't stand nude overlay. Gives a body tattoo look despite this being red.

First outfit: Nice, but dress and shoes are way too dressy for a daytime event.

Third outfit: depressing, and not only because of the somber colour.
Mrs. Macron needs to abandon those tight trousers. She has very skinny legs and often looks top-heavy already, and the trousers only emphasize that. She also seems to favour chains, buckles, zips and other metal embellishment on her outfits. I can get behind some of those but the strap-like shoulder chains on her black number look hideous and in some weird way both naughty and infantile.
So, all in all I say yay to the bright colours but nah to almost everything else.
I just thought it it looked like Mrs. Macron looked like she had a backpack

حذفI must say the Ladies look very elegant. I like the Keukenhof a field of tulips as far as the eye can see. Pic #14 everyone in dark cloth, it needed a little color. Maximas pants are way too long. This must be the style now. css

A couple of quibbles though--really wish she would not wear the heels with the plastic pieces, wish she had selected a pair of tan or beige gloves instead of the red/orange ones--makes her hands look odd, extending from the coat sleeves, and hope she gets a bit of tailoring for the length of her sparkly evening trousers, not a fan of the drag the ground trouser legs. Mme Macron had a stellar day--her blue pantsuit is beautiful and the more casual look for the garden visit is also very nice. My issue is her choice of dress for the evening event--those huge buckles on her shoulders are awful. She is a petite lady and those buckles are not for her!

I want to compliment Maxima on her makeup, which seems to have calmed down on the heavy bronze blush. She looks younger with a lighter touch. Although red is a good color for Maxima, I’m not liking the nude dress with red overlay—it’s unnecessarily showy. She does not need silly stunts like that. Her personality is attention getting enough.

The orange outfit is another over the top, 'look at me' I'm a Queen, outfit, even though it comes across as another ugly outfit for the occasion. QM looks so terrific in simple dark clothes but she hardlopen ever wears simple. And pls get rid of these gloves all the time. So old fashioned. Mme Macron was the best dressed on the 1st day.
