Princess Kako attended a ceremony to commemorate Emperor Showa

Empress Masako, Princess Aiko, Crown Princess Kiko, Princess Kako, Princess Mako visited the mausoleum of Empress Showa

On January 7, 2023, Japan's Princess Kako attended the memorial service for commemorating the 34th anniversary of the death of Emperor Showa (original name Michinomiya Hirohito) took place at Musashi Imperial Graveyard in Hachioji. Imperor Showa (1901 – 1989), was the 124th emperor of Japan, ruling from 1926 until his death in 1989. Upon his death in 1989, Hirohito was succeeded as emperor by Akihito.

    This is what royalty is all about. The dignity of the crown. What many here may describe as boring, conventional, uninspiring, in fact is the only way to survival, and I think the Japanese Imperial Family is fully aware of the danger of deviations
    from this path, as may be observed elsewhere.

      I took thought they are ble but they only appear blue they're still white.
