  1. Camilla looks nice in the first photo - something slightly different with her hair and make-up?...or perhaps just her expression caught at the moment in the photo. The red spotted tea cup makes a nice contrast against her dark blue coat and black skirt. Brighter colours reflecting the season would have been nice, but the darker colours make her look regal with her blonde hair.

  3. It's great she pays attention and interest in this important organisation. She's dressed well for the occasion, no overdue.

  4. Elégante Camilla dans ce manteau bleu-marine mais avec des bottes camel comme portées tout dernièrement, cela aurait donné un meilleur look !

    1. Yes but @Tulipe33, slowly does it.
I can’t imagine what’s going on behind the scenes with those new camel boots trying to integrate with Camilla’s old faithful, black suede boots. Your recommendation that she wears them (the camel boots) with her ensemble for the visit to Emmaüs, could be inviting trouble.
I hope with time and patience, they will all become one, happy, boot family and will merit a holiday at the cobblers’ during the spring and summer months of 2023.
Off topic: Full marks to Camilla for supporting the charity Emmaüs.
      They do excellent work.
Emmaüs is an international solidarity movement founded in Paris in 1949 by Catholic priest and Capuchin friar Abbé Pierre to combat poverty and homelessness.

  6. Very good, the dark blue on Camilla.
This model of clothes, both coats and dresses have become standard for q.C. and rightly so,

    1. Yes, but a little variation to the basic theme, from time to time, wouldn’t go amiss.
Otherwise it’s going to become her “on duty uniform”.

  7. Please stop calling Queen Camilla "the Queen Consort". That is not her title just like it was NOT the title of Queen Elizabeth's mother. She was referred to as The Queen or Queen Elizabeth, not the queen consort. Therefore, Queen Camilla should be referred to as that.

    1. Give it some time, before we know she will be referred to the Queen

    2. As far as I am aware, the Royal Family's PR department refers to her as 'the Queen Consort'; I will follow their protocol however they choose, instead of being told to make up my own. Thank you.

    3. I think "Queen Consort" is because for decades we had a Queen Regnant & they don't want people to look at Camilla as what Elizabeth II was. It'll take some people a while to get used to having a King in the UK, hence "Consort" all the time. Hopefully this will stop after the coronation & people have settled into the new situation. |-Melanie-|

    4. She is the queen consort. It is technically correct. You are going to have to accept the fact that she will be called that by many. Think about who's title she is taking. She will never be able to compete with the memory of Queen Elizabeth II, not just because of the 70 years of history, but because of the history of Camilla and Charles - and Diana. If anyone thought that she would slide into the role of queen without any feelings about the past, they were sadly mistaken. I think Camilla is certainly intelligent enough to understand this and accept this with grace.

    5. @Susan : Your instructions have been well noted.
But will they be followed ??
You know, "old habits die hard" or something like that 😊

    6. Personally I still wish to make a difference between the "Queen" (Qn Elisabeth) and the Queen consort.

    7. Agree. Queen Sonja, Queen Letizia, Queen Maximaetc. are all consort, married to a king and head of state. So why call HM Queen
Camilla consort and all other just queens 🤔 / L

    8. Because some people are not able to white wash over a piece of British history when Madam Parker Bowles played a role in a crowded marriage whilst still being married to her first husband.
I think ‘Queen Consort’ is being used as a compromise by the Royal Family's public relations people to try to keep everybody happy and play down this period of history.
I have respect for the woman and I think she is doing a good job and helping her husband as king. I wish her strength, good health and happiness in her new role.
Sorry @Susan : some people, like me, are not going to accept your “instructions”. We will make up our own minds.

  8. This color of blue is very pretty and suits Queen Camilla. As Anonymous 14:22 mentioned, the red and white teacup is a good contrast to the blue, and adds a bit of holiday spirit. Homelessness is a worldwide scourge; everyone who donate time and money to combat it are special. The Queen does good for many organizations in an attempt to improve the human condition, and the Emmaus House is a good example.

  9. Queen Camilla looks lovely today. The Queen's support of this charity for the homeless and the issue of homelessness is important as well as meaningful. Kudos to Her Majesty for continuing with the charities she has supported for years--I am sure the demands of her new role make scheduling a challenge and, in my opinion, shows how committed she is to her organizations.
