The purpose of the Childhood Award is to highlight people in Sweden who work with children and young people. The focus is directed each year on a selected professional group that consists of people who often play a decisive role in ensuring that children are safe, but who are rarely recognized for their efforts. In 2022, the Childhood Award was presented to a person who works at an after-school center.

Queen Silvia looks lovely in bright blue and I admire her dedication.
So sorry that Princess Madeleine could not come from Florida and she also misses the Nobel celebrations :(

She looks fabulous! That blue suits her so well.
Don’t geht me wrong, her Majesty always looks so nice, very well put together and undoubtedly elegant, but in her recent outings she looked especially glowing and beautiful.
What’s her secret? Happy marriage can’t be it. She is such a nice, warm, good looking and interesting lady.

  5. This is a nice dress with matching jacket. The satin lapels of the jacket and the trim at the waist of the dress creates a more festive look. The golden bow brooch is very pretty. Queen Silvia's hair style here is much looser and it looks wonderful.

Yes, I agree about her hair. The relaxed, slightly looser style is so flattering and youthful. (V.M.)

Hahaha, wanted to comment that on the last two outings her hair is not her usual perfect style ... to each their own... You like it I don't

Mi piace molto il colore di questo tailleur, così luminoso per la dolce Silvia, e bello il blazer con revers in raso.

I want to see a front view of the black jacket with the fantastical figures woven in--so interesting and fun! Does anyone know what the brand is or who the designer is? DIQ

  9. Queen Silvia is a good example of how simple "elegance" can be.

  11. Any thoughts about the award recipient's trousers? Is this a new style? Can't say I've seen anything like that before.

    1. Unfortunately I think it is. I have seen a lot of young men with short trousers and socks showing lately. On the other hand he is tall and wearing very slim pats and high boots. Perhaps the trousers are of normal length if he has other shoes. Ladyofthemanor

  13. The Queen looks lovely in this ensemble. The dress and jacket are well fitted, as are all her clothes, she obviously has a wonderful tailor. This shade of blue looks fabulous. Love the addition of the brooch.
