  1. This is a mixed bag. I like the general idea of the dress - the fabric, the texture, the colour... but the cut is odd. The high neck & puffy sleeves are swallowing poor Sofia & I'm not sure why there seems to be one lighter/see-through panel at the worst possible spot. I also would've preferred an updo or ponytail to make the whole look a bit lighter & less busy.

  3. Very "hard" und "heavy" look of Princess Sofia. The dress is too long and too dark.

    1. A winter outfit !

    2. It is very cold in an old Swedish church in the winter. This dress can accommodate woolen undies 😂.

    3. Christmas in Vasastan is each year in December. And this is the worst Sofia outfit.

    1. Agree that Princess Sofia is beautiful and that they are a lovey couple but this dress is doing her no favours. The long skirt completely swamps her and it's made worse by the high necked top and the heavy fabric

    2. Maybe no favours from this dress, but far from being ugly. One should see the real thing to judge.

  5. Je ne peux pas dire que le choix de Sofia soit à son avantage surtout au niveau des teintes foncées ; elle nous a habitués à beaucoup mieux comme le rouge par exemple !

  6. I think her dresses, blouses or sweaters have always a high neck lately which is not looking good on a lot of women. The lining of the dress should be or dark or beige but not a mixture of both. The sleeves are too broad and too long. The dress is too long too. If all that could be changed the dress would be much more attractive.

  7. I miss Sofia's old style. I have a feeling Sofia thinks if she curls her curls and wears a long lace dress, she'll look more "princely"
    It's not a good idea.

    1. I think that is utterly absurd. She is already a princess. And a lovely woman to boot. Sometimes wearing trendy clothes doesn’t always work in her favor, but in my opinion I think she could care less what we think. She wears what she likes and isn’t trying to look more like a princess. Same with Victoria’s colored suits and hair style. They wear what they feel
      Comfortable in.

  8. Sembrava un bel vestito, ma poi vedendo l’ultima ho cambiato idea: troppo lungo, troppo collettò, poi la balza, o forse le scarpe basse che non aiutano.
Mi spiace bocciare, Sofia è così carina.

  9. I like the idea of this navy gown but the execution is a fail. Combining the navy accessories, weighty color. The overall look appears very dense and heavy. The sleeves and bodice, neckline IMO add bulk to her silhouette. If her up was swept up and away from the shoulders it may add a touch of softness to the overall look. The skirt I don't like, it looks to be, appears, gathering mid way down, from knee area, hard to tell on my screen, again unwanted bulk. I like hems to cover the shoes more as in the case of the lady in the red sequin gown, Sofia's I dont like. That red gown looks fabulous, the fit is perfect, love the neckline, she looks beautiful.

  11. The colour is pretty on her. Otherwise it’s a miss for me - high neckline, full sleeves, tiered skirt - all of that fabric and detail is overwhelming her petite frame.
The busy hairstyle doesn’t help either. (V.M.)

  12. Sofia has always been a beauty, but unless she is dressed in evening wear her fashion choices are not great. This particular dress is ghastly...not suited to the occasion or the princess's figure.

  13. Princess Sofia's dress is something I have to think about and try to understand.
I've got it on the top of the list for 'things-to-do-tomorrow'. That's after I've finished my first pot of tea, of course.

A lovely princess and a gorgeous prince, just not a fan of the dress that seems to overwhelm our sweet petite princess. I do like the V-neck Merlot colored gown.

  16. This dress is a fail all around. She could so much better with her fashion and hair if she retained a good stylist.

  17. Oh my--I really liked the outfit Sofia is wearing until I saw a full length picture. Sorry to say but this is yet another fashion miss for Sweden's beautiful princess. Not sure if she is getting fashion advice but, if she is, she needs a new advisor!
