On December 21, Crown Princess Elisabeth and Prince Emmanuel of Belgium participated in the Warmathon that took place in and around the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels. The Warmathon is a sports event held as part of De Warmste Week 2022, which is a VRT charity's fundraising event that is organized annually the week before Christmas. This year’s De Warmste Week is raising money for 270 projects that aim to fight against poverty.
It strikes me, in the 6th picture (with the water bottles) how Prince Emmanuel looks like his grand-father, King Albert II. Elisabeth and Emmanuel set a wonderful example, for a very good cause. This is what royalty should do, I think. And they look so genuinely happy to do this together.

C'est avec plaisir que nous voyons ce duo vraiment charmant qui pendant ses vacances, donne de son temps pour participer à cet évènement sportif !
ReplyDeleteThe oldest sister who was the tallest is now the little one. CP Elisabeth's 2 brothers and her sister are now taller than she is. In any case what a good initiative to run both in the "Warmathon" part of the "warmest week" organized by the VRT (Flemish radio and television). The goal is fundraising for the 270 projects against poverty.
ReplyDeleteShe looks like mom. He looks like dad, and walks him.
ReplyDeleteI love this family; so affectionate and loving toward one another!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful for a good cause supporting the charity and at the same time promoting exercise and healthy living. Well done to both of them. Brother and sister appear close, indicative of a close-knit family, I applaud that very much, splendid.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agreed, Ava!
DeleteThey look splendid and this is a most laudable initiative.
Their parents must be so proud of all their marvellous children!
Lovely photos. Prince Emanuel is so like his Dad it's spooky!
ReplyDeleteHow nice both support each other. I must say I agree with Missy's comment. Nice sporty look. css
ReplyDeleteBoth are amazing young royals! Elisabeth does have the X-factor!
ReplyDeleteGood cause, for sure. Why does Elisabeth force her hair into a center part just to be "in fashion" when it's obvious her hair doesn't want it. *Becca
ReplyDeleteNice ! They seem to genuinely enjoy this event. Good pic of siblings’ bonds.

What a nice surprise to see this sibling duo back in action after last time visiting elderly house back in 2020.
ReplyDeletePrince Emmanuel seems very much enjoyed spending everytime with his older sister as we can all see throughout his smiles. This is much better than during the Christmas concert. He could barely smile at that time!
What a great event for the younger generation to participate in! I am so impressed at the obviously loving and close relationship of the King's and Queen's children. They seem to genuinely enjoy each other. Emmanuel looks so much like his father and grandfather in these photos. Elisabeth is a lovely girl and very like her shorter hair.

Sympathique, gentille mais pas jolie...je préfère sa soeur et le grand frère.
DeleteWhat a lovely comment @anon20:44. Absolutely necessary that it should be said as well.
