  1. The coat is not really a good design for Mathilde.

  2. Too much red, the dress should have been a different colour, camel may be, anyway Queen Mathilde looks lovely.

Boucles d'oreilles magnifiques !

    2. @Tulipe.

  4. I like this coat, the style and cut. The color is gorgeous. Though I do feel to much of the one color.

  5. Sadly, not a good look, too much red, and has she had injections into her cheeks? They look odd in the last photo, as well as that large line on her throat. I hope its just a makeup and lighting distortion, as the Queen is beautiful. She does not need to start with the fillers, botox, etc, that others use.

    1. It would her choice about fillers ..., not anyone else to decide on that.

  6. Although Queen Mathilde looks very elegant in her ensemble, I find the fabric very bulky and not ideal for her figure, a matronly look. Tulipe’s comment is better than mine. I like her lovely smile and dedication. The Swiss first lady looks terribly prim and proper, reminds me of a headmistress.

  7. Q. Mathilde is a wonderful person, natural, authentic, respectful and emphatic towards other people. And I like her coat.

  9. As others have written, Queen Mathilde's monochrome outfit is somewhat overpowering. Perhaps a multi-colored scarf would have offset all the red. I love her earrings and who can deny that she has a beautiful countenance. I wonder who was the recipient of her gorgeous smile in the next to last photo. King Philippe?
