Queen Margrethe of Denmark visited The Danish Jewish Museum in Copenhagen on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of Denmark's Jewish history. The Queen then attended a celebratory service at the Copenhagen Synagogue. King Christian IV of Denmark (reigned 1588-1648) officially invited Jews to settle in Denmark on 25 November 1622. Christian IV was the first Danish king to establish connections with Jews.

  2. I'm sorry, but that hat looks like a kitchen bowl turned upside down with something stuck on the side of it. Anne

    1. I’m sorry, but what a rude comment! It’s a religious symbol. Show some respect.

I think the comment referred to the Queen's hat not to the one worn by the Jewish gentleman.

Ok, this is a fashion blog and you seem to dislike this Queen.
Nonetheless, there comes a time when your personal hate (mocking) has to be put aside, when the meaning of her visit is so much more valuable than what she was wearing to it.
Why don't you focuse on the story of the man talking about Nazi persecution when he was just 12 years old instead?
You would have a lot to learn from, first of all, respect towards other humans.

    4. @P.the original, if you comment on the event and not the fashion and vice versa you are going to get raked over the coals regardless. Why would anyone hate Queen Margrethe as she is a lovely lady!

    5. No one hates anyone; Anonymous16/11/22 01:49 - The comment was made about the Queen's very odd hat, not the Jewish man. Read carefully before throwing out verbal garbage.

  3. Nice outfit for the Queen but that hat is something else, it looks like a bowl, IMO, but the little girl is super cute handing flowers to the Queen. Places like the Jewish Museum and other Memorials should keep us grounded and give us the reason to think and act according. css

  4. Without the hat, or with a different one, this would be a nice appearance for Queen Margrethe. But, she has a style of her own and others' opinions of it are irrelevant to her. We should all be so confident. The little girl's deep curtsey was very sweet.

  5. The colors of this ensemble are lovely, I particularly love the blue jumper underneath her jacket, this is a very pretty shade. I am not a fan of the hat. The little girl's very deep curtsey, warms the heart. How lovely she is.

  6. Although she looks lovely I do feel the Queen has worn most of her outfits several times and I would love to see her wear something new. She would look just fabulous in a Chanel type suit with some texture. She tends to favor the same pastel outfits over and over again. .
