  2. A really nice dress. But... either it should be a size bigger, although I think its all about better lingerie

  3. This dress is a beautiful colour and a great fit for Queen Mathilde's high waisted figure. . The neckline is particularly flattering. Are you certain it's Natan??

  4. Looks A LOT better on her than on the model. The colour is nice for Mathilde, and nice for autumn. The golden jewellery looks good with it. I wonder why I don´t like the outfit more. Maybe the dress is a bit too long? Or maybe the draping a bit too close to the neck? Don´t know.

  7. The queen looks fabulous and I think this is the only dress from Natan I have ever liked.

  8. I think under garments play a key role in making an outfit work. As much as this is such a flattering colour and style on Mathilde it glaring obvious that wrong undergarments are missing.

  9. She really needs better lingerie lately.

    1. Your comment is outrageous! How dare you call her fat? It is none of your business what her weight is, and it is certainly out of line to body shame her or anyone else. She is middle-aged and going through the same struggles many women go through.

    2. Struggles? Eat less and don't eat what will make you fat and you will be slim in no time. PS. Of course it is not my business but we can all say what we think , it calls "freedom of speech", learn that!

    3. Freedom of speech doesn't mean you can insult everybody. Mathilde is far from fat and even if she was, I don't see why it should be our business here to tell her what and how to eat. That's bodyshaming and never okay.

    4. Did it occur to you that Queen Mathilde is not far from the age of 50. A difficult age for many women. It can have an influence on you weight, especially the waist and the belly area. By the way you can say what you think in a more polite way.

    5. Queen Mathilde is tall with slim legs. Maybe she can afford to dress somewhat shorter.
She has also had 4 children, which inevitably leaves traces.
It is untrue that one's weight totally depends on diet. There are such factors as genes, body shape, age and certain conditions that influence it. A puffy face, for example, might be a symptom of hypothyroidism. And I agree with previous posters that opinions can and should be voiced politely.

    6. Anon 15:22, did it occur to you that Queen Letizia is 50 years old and Maxima 51, Princess Caroline is 65 years old and Princess Mary 50 and Queen Rania 52 years old and believe it or not ALL ARE SLIM. So don't tell me that woman "not far from the age of 50 can not be slim.

    9. I will tell you that NOT ALL ARE THIN! Maxima's legs are much larger than Mathilde. From a health perspective, neither lady would be considered "fat." Neither one is also "thin."

    10. @Ava Why are you so obsessed with justifying your verbal assaults on women by hiding behind the argument of Freedom of Speech? Because your original post wasn't deleted by a moderator for body shaming, you have decided to doubled down? The only person's body you should be concerned with is your own. There is never a time or circumstance when it is acceptable to call any woman, especially someone you don't even know, "fat". There are any number of reasons, many of which have been explained above, why a women can gain weight. You don't know Mathilde's story or the story of any other royal. Stop passing judgement. Stick to the clothes and what you think about she is wearing. Please stop the toxic comments. Your warped view of weight is disturbing.

I didn't say that women not far from the age of 50 cannot be slim. I said that many of these women (and I meant commoners as well as noble ladies) have the same difficulties as Queen Mathilde.
You are comparing women who are totally different from each other and from Queen Mathilde. Q Letizia f.i. she is doing her exercises every day and she is developing more and more muscles. Good for her if she can do that. But I preferred her how she was when she first married king Felipe. Queen Maxima, excuse me, but she is not exactly thin. She has a lower waist than Queen Mathilde but her hips and legs are more heavier than the others you describe.
Princess Mary and Queen Rania they are slim and you forgot someone : the Princess of Wales. Princess Caroline is 65 she is slim but looks 10 years older than she is. Conclusion : being slim is one thing, but not every woman who is slim is beautiful.

    12. Why are your keeping on scrutinizing women's bodies and why all these racing thoughts?
      Just insane.

  11. I don‘t think it is my business to suggest what kind of bra or whatever women should be wearing because it is too personal, however, in this case it is a pity
that no advice was given. The colour is lovely and the overall look very becoming.

  12. Lovely dress for Queen Mathilde--especially the color as I feel its very flattering with her skin tone. Have to say I would love to know what was happening in the 5th picture--King Philippe's face is priceless--and in the last photo of the royal couple at the top of the stairs--perhaps the conversation was continuing from picture #5.

  13. I think the Queen may have put on a few lbs/stones, for whatever reason, she is aging slightly, we all are, every second of every day. The the reason for the puffy face, and tummy sticking out a bit, could simply be a matter of aging, and the genes one carries around with them from their parents and generations before them. She is a lovely lady, seems extremely kind and gentle, and has raised her children well. Annie

    1. Don't justify everything with aging. There are women who are much older than her and are slim without "puffy" face..

    2. A puffy face can have different reasons. Allergies (I had one of which my face was swollen). Reactions on pharmaceutical prescriptions you have to take, etc....It is so easy to judge other people but you never know the reason why someone is looking so or so.

  14. I like queen Mathilde dress from the waist up. I read that the fabric of which the dress is made is wool jersey. This is a fabric that is not recommended for women who are not really thin. The dress is too small around the hips and tummy. A bigger size is not the solution then it would be too large from the waist up. Maybe special undergarment could be a solution.

  15. Mathilde porte un très joli modèle de robe en jersey de laine mais j'ai toujours remarqué que ce tissu n'est pas fait pour occulter certains défauts chez les femmes. Là, le haut croisé sur la poitrine lui sied à merveille !

  16. This is a lovely dress, the cross over bodice is interesting. The pastel color is soft and appealing. A lovely outfit for the Queen.

  17. It truly baffles me that Natan is so set on designing pieces that already look ill-fitting before they're put on someone's body. In this case, I even prefer it on Mathilde, the fit on the model is just awful.
