On August 15, 2022, Japan's Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako attended a memorial service marking the 77th anniversary of Japan's surrender in World War II at the Nippon Budokan Hall in Tokyo. Japan surrendered to Allied forces on August 15, 1945 in World War II and today marks the 77th anniversary of Japan's defeat and unconditional surrender.

  2. Une photo qui ne montre pas un brin de changements par rapport aux précédentes années ; il faut remarquer que le couple impérial est toujours vêtu parfaitement dans un style sobre afin d'assister à ce service commémoratif sur un fond de couleurs jaune, blanche sur fond de verdure !

    I do not understand why The Empress always recycle her outfit at the same occasion??? I never see any royals recycle their outfits except Duchess Kate, but not at the same occasion, is iit Japan tradition ,but not another royal members ,it seems like only Empress Masako ??????

    I wonder how Emperor and Emporess feel about growing tension between Twain and China. Will Japan step in should War break out between two countries?
