The Wessex and the Cambridges, Nice to see them out supporting the Games. Love the white suit on Kate. Charlotte is a nice young lady already.

  5. Catherine looks wonderful in this lovely sophisticated and attractive white pantsuit. She looks very elegant. I like Sophie's top very much, very pretty and feminine, the white pants fit well and look great.

Great seeing both family groups. The only Wessex outfit I like today is James’s. He’s suitably smart casual. Countess Sophie’s hair and make up are great. She looks lovely but not a fan of her outfit. Duchess of Cambridge looks as wonderful as usual but the outfit seems too smart for the occasion. Hope we’ll see more of them all in the next week of the Games. AnnieM

Great to see the Cambridges and the Wessexes enjoying the games together! I love how interested Princess Charlotte is--some of her expressions are so adorable. Everyone looks like they are having a wonderful time--cheering on Team GB (well, I' beginning to think perhaps James Severn might be as enthused as the rest of his family). Catherine, Sophie, and Louise look great--Catherine is very chic (that white suit seems to be a real favorite this summer) while the Wessex ladies look pretty and comfortable in their choices which are pretty and stylish. Meanwhile, Charlotte is stealing the show in her pigtails and nautical-themed dress!

They all look perfectly attired for the weather and for the event.
So nice to see them enjoying themselves. And Charlotte gets to attend her own event with her parents <3

Although I adore this pantsuit, and she looks divine, I find her way overdressed for the occasion.

The Wessex family : better dressed than on Monday. Sophie is looking very good in her pants and top. Louise's skirt is lovely, a pity the blouse is looking old fashion. James wears a nice shirt.
Kate is overdressed for a swimming contest. I like Charlotte's dress : a little lady already.

Love Lady Louise' s skirt. A different pair of shoes might have looked better. The duchess of cambridge seems over dressed for the occasion. An Alexander McQueen designer suit for a sporting event -- REALLY?Everyone else seems to be dressed quite well to suit the event.

Am I the only one who thinks Louise dresses like a 40 year and not an 18 year old? Not suggesting rip jeans and a crop top or leggings but 18 year olds don’t dress like this. Km

No you are not. But I don't dare anymore to say that because I received a lot of accusations as an answer.

Why I am not surprised that the writers that were scandalized by Queen Letizia sitting with her legs crossed, aren’t running for the salts just looking at the way The Duchess is sitting? I personally understand that many times we sit for comfort rather than “ protocol” but the double standards are just obvious.

Kate must have had some other engagements-otherwise her attire is out of context. We know how she dresses for sports events, and a white McQueen suit isn’t it.

Sophie looks better than in some of her previous appearances. Louise isn’t likely making yet her own choices in terms of attire. Sophie must be the one giving her direction. All considered, good showing from BRF for the Commonwealth Games.

PS: should they really cheer only for GB? What about the other Commonwealth countries? Her Majesty is head of state in many of them… so why only GB? Seems odd. At least to me.

Were they only cheering for GB?

Yes, they were indeed cheering for GB swimmers - and showing disappointment when they didn’t win.

Very glad to see Charlotte getting time with both her parents without being the ‘spare’ to George.
