HM looks radiant--and her blue ensemble is so pretty! How wonderful to see her up and out for this ceremony. The Countess of Wessex (or Forfar as she is known in Scotland) looks marvelous--love the green dress, the boater-style hat, and the cognac-colored accessories. Prince Edward is really moving into the same area of sartorial flair his father had.

Isn't Prince Edward the next (current ?) Duke of Edinburgh with Prince Phillip's passing? (I'm sure some one will correct me if I'm wrong.)

The Queen does look lovely. That shade of blue suits her. It seems that as long as she gets ample rest in between engagements she does pretty well with her mobility issues.

The current Duke of Edinburgh is technically Prince Charles who inherited the title on his father’s death. It seemed to have been the intention that it would go to Edward, hence him not having a Dukedom already, but it will be up to Charles to decide when he becomes King.

  3. The Queen looks absolutely lovely. The only thing I would change are those buttons. I think pearl ones or covered buttons wpuld have looked better.

The Queen looks well rested, and her outfit is lovely as ever. However, I have a feeling her lower legs hurt. Bless this woman for the outstanding life she has led. jj

It is a joy to see that HM is able to participate in some of these traditional events. She looks wonderful. The blue/lilac coat and hat are beautiful. Her smile is exquisite. The Countess of Wessex's green ensemble is very pretty. And, yes, Prince Edward is stepping up his game. (Debra)

I love the colour of the coat; and the buttons are spectacular. Her Majesty has amazing style. The hat is just right. As her Majesty's clothes is all made for her, maybe the person just needs to make a few extra pieces; like Norman Hartnell.(Tara)

  14. The Queen looks great, marvellous to see her out and about, what a inspiration she is. I love her pale blue coat, the hat is gorgeous. Her beautiful pearls are the perfect finishing touch. C of Wessex looks splendid, this shade of green is very becoming on her. Her subtle pieces of jewellery are a great added touch. Love the tan accessories. Prince Edward, is looking very refined and dapper. Its wonderful to see the Wessex's giving the Queen support, they seem comfortable and at ease with each other. I love how they don't seem to 'hover' but are not far away if need be. Well done to the Wessex's.

Queen Elisabeth is looking good. She is so beautiful in her light blue coat and hat. I hope she is feeling better and better.
Countess Sophie looks goo in green. It is a color that suits her. A pity the dress is so wrinkled. I love her hat but the green band around it should be replaced by a band in the same color as her dress. Must be not so difficult. I like her dark brown shoes. A pity the handbag don't match the shoes nor the dress. It makes me think of map for documents not a handbag.
