Mathilde looks fabulous. I love the balance between the ethnic print on her pants with the crisp white shirt. Lovely

Love Q Mathilde's pant and shirt, simple but very nice.

Really lovely look from Queen Mathilde! She looks marvelous. I think she has had a stellar wardrobe for this trip--and I hope to see her wear something made from one of the fabrics she and Philippe were looking at last week.

50% of her clothes for this trip was new. About 50% was something she had before. I was getting the impression that she took more clothes to this state visit than she does usually. Of course they stayed about a week in a hot climate.

QM looks good in this outfit by Natan. She has these pants, which were paired with another white top, since 2018. I preferred that top. She didn't wore much of Natan during this state visit.
I wonder why we didn't saw the pictures taken before dinner with the Belgian delegation yesterday evening, when QM wore again an ethnic inspired evening gown by Odile Jacobs. I saw the orange dress on the website "Fashion queen Mathilde". Queen Mathilde looked fabulous also in this gown but.... I cannot explain everything here it will take too long.

Queen Mathilde, always beautiful, looks wonderful in this white blouse with the standup, v-neck collar, loosely tied belt, and lovely cuffs. It complements the print of her pants, as do her shoes. King Philippe looks very nice too. All in all, I think this has been a successful trip for the them. (Debra)

Like Mathilde's top but not a fan of the pants too busy for me Mary

  7. Why does Queen Mathilde want to tie belts round everything? As with yesterday's outfit, the white blouse would look fine with the trousers without a tie round the middle, I would have thought it would be cooler as well. Her hair is lovely

I was thinking the same thing. Why tie a belt on everything? However with this white blouse, the belt looks lovely as long as it remains low. However when it rides up higher and when she is sitting it doesn't look so nice at all.

  8. I love this outfit, she looks wonderful. Lovely crisp white blouse, I like the addition of the belt in this instance. The pants though busy pattern, with her height she wears these splendidly. Her hair looks fabulous up style. Shoes are a perfect choice.

I love both outfits - the white blouse with printed pants and the unusual but beautiful ethnic inspired orange gown.
Once again the subject of belts arises; on the white blouse the belt looks lovely - as long as it is worn low, such as when she is walking. When it rides up such as when she is sitting it doesn't look good at all. The orange belt is obviously by Natan though I don't know if the dress is. I think the dress would have looked great without a belt and worn more in a slim kaftan style. If a belt was necessary then a thinner one would have been better. I commend her on the dress however. It's lovely.

I agree with you about the belt on the evening gown. Not a good idea.

  10. Très rafraîchissante cette blouse blanche mais je ne suis pas du tout fan du pantalon que j'aurais bien vu dans une couleur unie comme celle des chaussures par exemple !

The orange evening gown by Odile Jacobs looks fantastic on Queen Mathilde. Orange is a color that suits QM very well.
    But :
1° The belt has to go (bought at Natan's)
2° I'd would have made the sleeves shorter and straight (just above the elbow) The kind of sleeves she has now are too large and make her broader than she is.
3° The neck is too high closed. A neckline a little lower would have been perfect.
The golden earrings by Tikkly jewels are a good choice with the dress.

The first outfit was lovely, if only, she has not worn a belt. Not sure about the 2nd outfit.

  13. Please, stop wearing belts on EVERY outfit. Mathildes body is a bit changing, which is not strange, given her age. But because she has somewhat broader hips and a little bit of a tummy, a belt is not the most tactically chosen accessory... She also has very long legs and a relatively short upper body, which only is accentuated by the high-waist belts.

The white belted area just took away from the entire look of the Queen. She does not have to wear a belt with everything. She would look so much better in several of the outfits on this trip without any belt. She is such an intelligent lovely woman, let go of the belts, you'll feel better around the middle of your waist and look so much more comfortable and fashionable.
