  1. I wouldn't like to wear such a belt. Must be quite uncomfortable.

      This is Maxima style something has to be;
      - too Big
      - too Colourful
      - out of proportion
      - uncoordinated
      - exaggeration!

This is just an ugly dress,

    1. I agree. The pleating on the top and bottom is too much for me. The green color is pretty though, but I think that's the only good thing about this look. Horrible belt (as usual, way too big).

Nice dress, but the belt is way too big.

QM looks very elegant in this green dress with burgundy accents. The fact that the fabric of the dress is pleated in its entirety gives the dress a nice twist. In my opinion, the big buckle adds something this time. The whole is completed with a superb hat; QM wears hats like no other. Small side note: maybe the dress could have been a little shorter.

PB also looks good, but I think the black hat is 'a little too heavy' for the occasion. When she no longer has the cape j(which is beautiful on its own) on, it already looks a lot better.

  6. Robe toute en légèreté déjà portée que j'aime beaucoup mais pourquoi donc mettre cette ceinture trop large ? j'adore la transparence du chapeau !

  8. It's Natan but I like it! The belt is too chunky and actually looks uncomfortable but still a nice dress. It fits well and is a really good length. Having complained about too many single colour outfits, while I like the hat too but not sure if it's a good match for the dress. Certainly one of the Queen's better looks.

Not fond of anything Natan, however the interesting fabric pattern, combined with the overall pleats seems to work for the garment. The wide belt, looked ok, and thank goodness she wore a hat to cover her hair. The style is her typical 'look at me' meaning a bit over the top, but it matched the bag and shoes and did not distract too much.

  10. This shade of green and pattern is very becoming. The pleating of the bodice, is different, the more I look at it, get use to it, the more I like it. IMO, the belt is too wide. I do love the Burgundy tones of her accessories, this lifts the overall look wonderfully, the gloved included. Special mention of the burgundy hat, this shape looks splendid, the Queen really looks good in this style. The earrings, I am not sure if they are real stones or fake? regardless they are pretty and look effective.
Its a bonus to see PB, the 2nd last photo, a good look at her dress (with her cape off) or two piece suit, not sure, but it looks very smart and stylish.
P.S I must make mention of the lady in the 2nd last photo standing next to the King, in the simple black dress, with three quarter length sleeves , she looks elegant, and stylish. The belt size is perfect, clear hose and black shoes. She looks lovely.

QM : Love the whole picture : dress, shoes, clutch and especially the transparent hat.
PB looks lovely too. The style of her hat didn't change in years. I have always heard that her hats have been designed this way to fit with her hairdo. When she put her hat off, her hair looks still good.

  12. Queen Maxima as we know her. Full of fashion faults but we love her.
    Great to see Princess Beatrix.
Princess Beatrix reminds me of Queen Elizabeth II. A fixed fashion code that doesn't set off any alarm bells.

Queen Maxima "puts in the extra effort". "keep it up".
No way. Our dear Maxxima is just giving us a pause whilst she gets ready to present us with another disaster.
But in the end, she's very loveable.
I think her hubby, oops sorry, King Willem-Alexander is a very lucky man, opps sorry again, lucky King.

Queen Mathilde has the same dress in Fuchsia red. The flowers in her dress are very pale white. I think she wears a thin belt or no belt at all with this dress. I can't remember exactly. These dresses are recycled from the years 2019, '20 or '21.
    Can't remember the exact date.
