So its a casual business trip but this look is more of holiday casual heading to the beach afterwards. Not a good choice

      'Jill' :
Anything PM has been wearing isn't a good choice, in your opinion, in fact it never is.
I disagree .... PM has looked perfect in her outfits on those hot working events imo.
      Love to see her in colours. / ML❤️ 🧡💙💚 💛 💜

    2. Better than being overdressed on such an occasion.

      ML, and..what are you saying?
I do agree now, and nearly most of the times: Marie IMO displays not a great taste in clothing.
Not that it matters, but for me that is a fact.

  2. Lovely bright blue blouse for Princess Marie who generally favours more muted colours. Skirt is also nice and a good tribute to her hosts

  3. This is a lovely fresh modern ensemble. The skirt is very pretty and feminine. The contrasting blue blouse looks great.

One of my favourite princesses wears an excellent outfit for the occasion.
Love the colors and the jewelry. Love the sandals too. That's how to dress in a hot country and still remain descent.

  5. Mixed feelings on this outfit. I do really like it but not sure that a tied shirt top was the way to go for a reception that essentially a business reception for an organization of which Princess Marie is patron. She does look wonderful but I think a different choice or style of top would have been more appropriate.

Better this than a lace dress !

    2. I completely agree Janet. I think the skirt is perfect but the tied shirt strikes a slightly too casual note.

  6. I love this outfit. The colours are gorgeous and to me it is perfect for the event. It stands out without being ostentatious.

I do like this vibrant outfit PM's wearing and this shade of blue's wonderful on her. Question, however, whether it's appropriate for a reception...

It is indeed a rather casual outfit but it could be seen as a nice gesture towards the host country and its vibrant colourful culture. I can't help but like it. (I hope I don't offend anybody with my words since English is not my mother tongue. If anyone feels offended I do apologize.) I. P.
