Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie visited the social solidarity association "Nei Aarbecht" in Helmdange. Established in 1986 by the National Committee for Social Defence (CNDS) in Luxembourg, the association aims to integrate socially and professionally long-term unemployed people.

The “Nei Aarbecht” workshops offer training focused on several occupations such as ironworker, carpenter, electrician, locksmith or tailor. The renewed products are then resold at a low price on the Helmdange site or on Facebook.

Stephanie's jacket has not the good colour for her. It is too pale and do not contrast enough with her face. Handbag seems to be O.K. but the shoes should be replaced by black ones adapted to her pants. She should think about it not to put her hands in the pockets of her coat. If it is not warm enough, she should wear gloves. I do not understand that a person who is educated in a aristocratic family does not automatically knows how to give herself the right attitude.

I agree. But Prince Guillaume puts his hands in his pockets, too.
I like her hair styled in this way.

13:01 you did not add your name/nickname and your comments are quite wrong about Stephanie. The jacket is lovely shade for her, the shoes, you only get a tiny glimpse of, and look as though they are similar to the coat, you missed the obvious issue, the handbag, looks like something my grandmother from the 1950's would have carried. However, Stephanie is a beautiful, intelligent woman, intelligent enough to know, "my hands are cold, I'll slip them into my pockets'. After all she is well schooled but not in weather patterns. Have a good day, you seem to have have the understanding and knowledge of an aristocratic person, but do not write like one. Ammali

The fact that both Guillaume and Stephanie have their hands in their pockets does look unprofessional for royals.

Anonymous10/3/22 13:01: Your grammar in the first sentence is wrong, it is bad form to write things wrong. Also, your nuances into aristocratic fashion seems to be quite outdated, or you might have just used the term to substantiate your own fashion beliefs. We do not believe gloves are a requirement for royal attire, unless the royal, wishes to wear them, it is, after all 'their' choice. Cluegetta

Cluegetta this is not the first time you use the "we" subject in your comments.
This sounds weird so can you tell who do you represent, a group of people?
You do not seem to be speaking for yourself.

Anonymous11/3/22 06:58 We as a collective group of people is not a representation, but an entire country of people think that if one's hands are cold, they put them in their pockets. Common sense. Let it go, its an either or discussion in a world gone crazy. I spoke my mind, and used a 'word' you did not like, so sad, to bad. You tried to insinuate that only royals are supposed to carry around a pair of gloves in case they might get cold hands and that it is "have the understanding and knowledge of an aristocratic person." lol Cluegetta

@Ammali, and you shouldn’t be attacking a person because of her opinion. People aren’t “wrong” when they state their preferences in fashion, we all differ. What is wrong is to get aggressive towards a fashion statement that you don’t share. And concerning sticking one hands in their pockets, nobody cares nowadays, but yes it’s considered bad form.

20:19, I was not 'attacking' such a violent term in today's society, when this is a fashion blog. Commenting on a person putting their hands in their pocket, or not, has nothing to do with fashion, but due to temperature fluctuations during any given day. No, not wearing gloves, is not bad form, its a choice, Stephanie made a choice, maybe she didnt think it would be cold, or maybe she didnt bring any gloves, or left them on the seat of the vehicle, or any other number of situations. I feel you should come out of hiding, and follow the rules of the blog by using your name or nickname, that is bad form. :) Ammali

Her hair looks great, as it does most of the time. But I get a strange feeling looking at Stephanie in these photos. It's the same vibe I got when she was expecting Charles, before the announcement was made.

    Dare we hope??

    1. I thought the same!! Her hands in her pockets so you do not see a curve of her belly.
I do the same but that has to do with extra fat on my belly 😜

  5. The jacket is very bland, even a colourful silk scarf or suchlike would have brightened this overall look no end. A pair of black shoes would have looked a lot better overall.

  6. The gray coat is fine by me--yes, I prefer to see Stephanie in more colorful coats but it fits quite well and looks comfortable and warm for an event in the cold. I would have preferred to see her choose black boots/shoes as it is a more flattering look but if her boots match her coat and she's happy, ok by me. Regarding having her hands in her pockets--she was at an event that was held in a place where it must have been cold and was also outside plus it was informal. Not really sure why its such a big deal for a royal to put her hands in her coat pockets in this type of situation. Might I point out that Prince Guillaume has his hands in the pockets--and he is royal born. I also see Prince Charles with one of his hands in his pocket all the time. I really Stephanie's hairstyle and I think she looks quite nice (except for the gray boots/shoes)!

  7. She looks like she is using her hands in her pockets to pull the jacket away from her front/middle. Baby????

One can only hope she might be; however she worn that form fitting blue dress a few days ago, and she also held her hands clasped in front of her, as did the mother in law. Time will tell. :)

Virginia, Thank you for your condescending remark about non native English speakers. The original author had no problem attacking other peoples remarks as if her opinion was the only one that mattered. Your reply to Cluegetta was discourteous and discriminatory towards someone who was being polite, about a really inane comment on gloves, the be all end to tell if people are aristocratic or not.

To Ammali and Cluegetta. My mother tongue is not English. Yes I make mistakes. In the future when I see your both names on this blog I will write in French. Not that I do not make mistakes in French because it is not my mother tongue either.
Since I am not the only person who is writing anonymously on this blog, I will continue to do so in the future. Among the bloggers who did mention their name or nickname there were some who thought exactly like me. Are you attacking them too ? What I found very funny is that you thougth that the answers of the people who reacted anonymously on your comments came from myself ! Have a nice weekend.

The person did not say that you had to wear gloves in order to be aristocratic or royal. The point is that if her hands are cold, then she should wear gloves as many other royal ladies do, instead of putting her hands in her pockets. Nobody is saying you need to wear gloves in order to be considered an elegant lady, though that might have been the case back in the 60s ;)
Now today there is a new post and her hands are once again in her pockets! It does not look good if you are a person who is photographed and filmed - whether you are a royal, politician or a journalist live on air.
