On March 7, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium held a reception at the Castle of Laeken in order to congratulate the Belgian athletes who won medals or Olympic diplomas in the 2022 Winter Olympics that took place in Beijing. In addition to the athletes, their coaches and a delegation from the Belgian Olympic Committee also attended the reception.

ردحذفI do like the upper part of the dress QM, which suits her well. However, the dress would benefit without the drapery on right hip and a slightly longer length. Personally I would have combined the dress with somewhat darker shoes. Overall my conclusion is that QM looks at her best in 'simple' clothes.

I agree with your general conclusion about simple clothes, however I don't think it should be extended up to all details of clothes. I like the drapery on the side of the dress.

ردحذفThis dress is from december 2018. Mathilde shops a lot in her closet lately. I like her in this dress : it is still beautiful and the red colour suits her.
