The Duchess of Cambridge will pay a working visit to Denmark

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton will also join Crown Princess Mary. Queen Margrethe

The Duchess of Cambridge will pay a working visit to Copenhagen between 22-23 February for the purpose of bringing the work of her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood to the international stage for the first time and learning Danish practices for early childhood development, as Denmark is widely recognised as a world leader to its approach and investment in the area.

During the visit, the Duchess will meet with children and families, leading researchers, representatives from academia, and those working in the early education sector. The Duchess will also meet with Queen Margrethe celebrating her Golden Jubilee this year. The Duchess will also join Crown Princess Mary for a visit to a project supported by The Crown Princess Mary Foundation.

Apart from the working aspect of this visit this should be a spectacular fashion event. Fingers crossed. Mary

For two people who have no qualifications in Child development or education; mother statements on Child development or welfare ,is just that; words. The fashion will be good. Actually Princess Victoria should be part of this; as she is aristocratic who has a good handle on the subject.

Agree, they do not know a lot about phenomenology, linguistics, didactics, science of pedagogy, philosophy. Just relaying on personal thinking which ist never questioned by servants.

    2. First of all if you read the purpose of her visit you would know why she is visiting Mary. She is visiting Denmark who is recognized for their success and knowledge and standards in childhood development. If for no other reason she is qualified because she is a loving Mother. her work and contribution to the European chapter of the World Health Organization. Her work at the United Nations for childhood causes, The Mary Foundation which she gave $50,000 on her 50th birthday. I could just go on and on about her contributions to help the development of children. No disrespect to Victoria but she is visiting Denmark not Sweden for their accomplishments. Crown Princess Mary is the epitome of what a royal should be. The best thing that ever happened to Frederick is the day he met and married her, Queen Margrethe said in an interview once that with Mary by his side he will be successful as a King. When you spoke about that aristocratic comment it reminds me of those who refers to her as commoner from down under which is an insult to my idol. You must have a low self to make the comments that you did. How dare you!

To Fitzhugh: BRAVO! You wrote more than I could remember.

      To Anon13/2/22 21:54
You wrote about princess Victoria that "she is aristocratic". To be exact Victoria is half-aristocratic - her mother was a commoner. Swedish law in the 1970's required parlament's approval for the king's marriage if the king was under 30 years old. And he was. He also knew that the parlament wouldn't approve. So they waited for his 30th birthday after which they didn't need the parlament. (There was a strong anti-monarchist movement in Sweden in the 1970's. Many people say that Silvia saved the Swedish monarchy.)

I can't say anything about Princess Mary as I dont know enough but the Duchess of Cambridge has spent plenty of time researching and working with experts in this area. And since when did someone have to have a PhD in a subject to be able to lead a campaign shining a light on that particular area?

Duchess Kate is invited to Amalienborg, it always happens when foreign heads of state and royals officially visit Denmark. This time the Queen M and CP Mary receive. There is nothing in the royal calendar about Mary participating in Kate's job visit in Denmark on 22nd and 23rd of February.

OK, Kate is visiting and Mary is fine with it. But the reason is so imaginary and far-fetched that it would have been better to say Kate will be visiting Mary, as there is nothing wrong with doing that. Just visit! - Ellie

No, the reason for the visit has been stated quite clearly - and it isn't social.

I'm going to cook my hubbie's meals for the 22 & 23 February and put them in the freezer for him.

Your hubbie is able to use the microwave or the oven then, wonderful!

    3. Thanks for bringing that up. He's not the brightest hubby in the world you know, so I'd better double check to see if he remembers how the micro-wave works. The oven is out of the question as he stores some of his fishing gear in it. I'm a 100% micro-wave cook.

These two women will probably have a lot in common. Non royal background; not from aristocracy, they will understand the struggles of women. (Tabby)

"they will understand the struggles of women".... Let me say that i have strong doubts about it.

Better remain on the fashion side.

Envy for these two gorgeous royal ladies and future Queens together with frustration can be the answer.

Jealousy toward the two most fashionable and well loved royals in the world. They are both beautiful beyond words as well. Some people think words can hurt them, but WRONG!!

"Beautiful beyond words" is a bit of a stretch. Would you think they were beautiful if they weren't royal? IMO Katherine is quite pretty. Mary is average/plain at best.

How it is possible ? The visit did not even took place yet and everyone is getting excited already. Calm down, I'm sure there are other things in your lives that have to be taken care of first before the fashion show begins.

You are the one who says I'm not interested in. The only thing I do not understand why to make such a publicity before the visit take place. And when I read the comments of some bloggers they write about things that have absolutely nothing to do with this visit. I am equally interested in what other royals do or don't, no more no less. So let's waith and see.
By the way I think Crown Princess Victoria has other "struggles" (14/02
5:21) to face these days (the educational army program she follows for the moment f.ex.)

Publicity has nothing to do with this thread.
The two royal ladies have this visit on their own agendas and they both are much loved and admired worldwide.
Some kind of expectations are perfectly normal ,since Kate Is surely coming to pay a visit to Queen Margrethe for her Jubilee as well.
She is paying a visit to a Head of State, too.
Everyone is free to feel excited as they like.
As to Victoria, I only mentioned her on another thread, why bringing her in here?

Once again it proves that this site is biased and racist. My comment was not posted. Why not change the blog name to 'only nice comments to Kate(KKK)' blog.

Malfunction? Nice try in defending this biased and racist site, Tulipe33. It isn't the first time. Any positive comment to Meghan&Harry and any negative British Royals comments are censored. To clarify, we are not royalists. However, we have tested this blog over and over with random comments and each time our comments were not published and only when we write back and never the original comment. Rather than coming in defense for this racist blog, you should be asking them why they are not fair. Not questioning makes you complicit, Tulipe33. Taking your advice, saved this comment in Word.
