  1. If the man on the right of Princess Mary (first and second photo) is the Minister of Education and Science, then I desperately want to go back to school (in Denmark).
In fact he is the spitting image of the Prince Alois of Liechtenstein.
When I first saw the photo I thought what is Prince Alois doing in Denmark handing out Education and Science awards.
    >Now I'll try to concentrate on fashion. Not a great fan of Princess Mary's chemise and pants. Needs something with a bit of "umph" to brighten up her ensemble. Don't understand what she has done with the belt.
    Congratulations to the award winners.

Just another day at the office kink of outfit for Princess Mary, not spectacular but simple and appropriate, black pants with a printed blouse and a black jacket, None of us look glamorous everyday.

Not her best look. The blouse is quite busy and the pattern is not great. I think a more narrow trouser would look better than the wide leg. The belt is a bit strange.

  4. I like the design of the blouse but not the busy pattern. The pants, have quite a wide leg, really, slim line would look good, but that's purely my personal preference. CP Mary looks well groomed and appropriately dressed. Love her hair.

  5. J'ai tout de suite remarqué la chemise au joli imprimé que je mettrais bien avec une jupe droite à la place du pantalon à jambe large ; l'originalité de la ceinture me plaît beaucoup !

  6. I agree with comments : not her best day. However I am already fearing what comments would be, if other royal ladies would wear that ?! Mathilde or Victoria or others ??

Super slim or skinny pants are completely out of fashion this winter. Although I don't like the very wide legs I have a couple of silky summer pants with wide legs. And this winter I still wear my skinny pants.
About crown princess Mary : she is thin and she can wear wide pants. The blouse is a bit too dark and the pattern too busy.
All and all not a bad outfit for her daily occupations.

Rather a plain, busy pattern blouse for a special occasion where she should have taken a little more care to dress nicely.

  9. What if the designer of the blouse turned out to come from Ukraine??
It has a slight eastern European look to it...

And no, I don´t know - just guessing.

It's not. It is Danish design. I don't think Mary will wear it again.

I think the concept of the outfit is 1970s at least that's what it looks like to me. A bit boring doesn't appeal to me. Mary

I wore a similar look at work a couple of weeks ago in terms of a tunic and belt bought in a second hand shop paired with black sleek pants. However, my blouse was in bright colors and does not have a closed high neck design like Marys.

Agree with comments above, not her best day in the outfit stakes. The colours look to drain her complexion. Maybe a more modern hairstyle would have helped this one along.
