Just wow, this pant suit which QL's wearing; the special belt is a great touch to it. I also appreciate the way she's having her hair in this updo. Minor quibble are the somewhat too pointy shoulder pads to my taste.

Nice updo, she looks like a ballerina.

  3. Quelle silhouette élégante dans ce costume bleu-marine aux fines rayures délicatement noué ; Letizia est aussi belle avec les cheveux lâchés que portés en chignon !

Exquisite, I love this pin stripe with the belt giving it a twist to make it different and more feminine. I am a fan of the ballerina bun. Letizia has a way to elevate even the more classic style to a whole higher level.

  6. Absolutely stunning. I love everything about this suit. Very few people look good in jackets tied in the middle but on this occasion the result is perfection. The exaggerated shoulders are just enough and I personally like the shorter trousers. A modern stylish look and Letizia's hair style just sets it off.

  8. This pinstriped pant suit with the cinched waist looks fabulous on Queen Letizia. I'm not a big fan of cropped pants, but, in this instance, she makes them look good. Her hair appears to be highlighted. Her loose bun is perfect. I can't make out any jewelry, not even her usual oval ring. But she needs no embellishments.
    Sometimes, less is more.

    2. This Navy pantsuit is the epitome of chic. Both stylish and smart, a fabulous outfit. The Queen looks marvellous. Love the jacket, the fit, cut and length of the jacket is spot on, the front pockets add interest. The sash belt, elevates this jacket up a notch, very classy.
The pants, I usually don't like this style of pants, but in this instance it works in superbly. The Magrit navy leather shoes look gorgeous, a beautiful shoe. The up style looks splendid, it really polishes the overall look. As I said above, the earrings are simply stunning, beautiful diamonds and a single emerald, I would so love them in my jewellery box!

The pointy shoulder pads are on trend not only in Spain but also in the U.K. (cfr Duchess of Cambridge) but I don't like it. And certainly not in a dark coloured suit or blazer. Automatically it makes me think at the coat of the bad queen-stepmother in "Snowwithe and the 7 dwarfs" by Walt Disney.
In this case I don't like the length of the pants either. A little bit longer would have been much better and going bare foot in your shoes is not very elegant. I can understand it when it is hot in the summer but during winter there is no reason to do so. She has not to wear black transparent stockings if she don't like that but transparent ones in the colour of her skin would be so much better and it hides the veins on your feet.
It is interesting to know that pinstriped fabrics are on trend again. I always liked that also for man suits.

Actually It is not cold in Madrid, we have been at 18-19 degress, also transparent stockings are considered tacky, not elegant at all, different cultures.

In Spain we do not need stockings, we try to tan our legs, we have lost of sun, I understand in other places people could need to wear them, that day It was 20C degress , probably in other countries people would wear shorts.

It has nothing to do with culture. In my country there are also women who walk barefoot in their shoes as much as possible. Unfortunately it is not possible for people with fair and sensible skin. They cannot go in the sun as often as they wish even with a good sun protector. Lucky there are transparant stockings nowadays of good brands which are so thin you can hardly see it on your legs.
By the way on the photos above I see a woman with an opaque black panty and one with a yellow panty ??!!!

Opaque panties are on trend, not transparent ones. There are other options for the feet, I do not know in English though...pimkies?..

You can see that Mary of Denmark wore opaque too.

I never said you cannot wear opaque panties. It was in my answer to anonymous 25/2/22 21:44 because she said women did not need stockings in Spain. Before you react on a comment you have to read carefully the previous ones.
I don't know what pimkies are but I think you talk about sockets that just cover the part of the feet that is hidden in the shoes.
