The Duchess of Cornwall invited members of the current cast, writers, and the production team of BBC Radio 4’s "The Archers" to Clarence House to celebrate the programme’s 70th anniversary. During the reception that took place on December 7, The Duchess joined June Spencer, who plays Peggy Woolley, to cut an Archers-themed 70th birthday cake.

C'est en arrivant à la dernière photo que j'ai remarqué la couleur bleu-marine de sa robe dont la jupe est trop longue et pas assez près du corps ; elle y est trop engoncée ; il me semble que pour recevoir à Clarence House, elle aurait pu porter des chaussures mais elle est trop habituée aux bottes - Très original le gâteau mais est-ce qu'il aurait été à mon goût ?

    Les tenues de la duchesse de Cornwall sont toujours les mêmes, seulement dans des styles, teintes et tissus différents, pas très original. Je suis d'accord avec Tulippe 33, qu'elle aurait pu porter des jolis souliers vu qu'elle était à l'intérieur de sa résidence.

      I agree with you about her dresses. Her dresses appear to be made from the same pattern and the dressmaker comes up with slight variations on each one to keep it interesting. ~d

    The bodice of the dress is very nice and so are the sleeves. The skirt however has not a good shape. probably because the waist is too wide. A smaller skirt would have been better. The black boots should be replaced by shoes.

  4. It's her signature style. She seems happy and comfy with it, which is good. However, in her own home there's no need to wear the all-too-well-known black boots. Other than that - well done.
