Last week, Princess Caroline attended a dinner held in honor of Karl Lagerfeld at One Monte-Carlo. The dinner took place before the auction of Karl Lagerfeld inheritance. Karl Lagerfeld, once the creative director of Fendi and Chanel, left behind a collection worth seeing. Special pieces from Karl Lagerfeld’s estates in Monaco, Paris and Cologne were put up for auction for the first time since his death.

The auction in Monaco occurred on 3, 4 and 5 December 2021. The auction in Paris will be held on 15 December, and the auction in Cologne will then be held on 22 March 2022.

The collection of Karl Lagerfeld includes numerous items, from his portrait by Takashi Murakami to Tokidoki dolls, as well as the designer's personal items which include bowls adorned with the image of his cat Choupette, a Jeff Koons Balloon Venus, three Rolls Royces, the iconic leather Mitaines that he wore constantly for the last 20 years, and a selection of suit jackets by Dior, Saint Laurent, KL, Comme des Garçons and Martin Margiela.

  1. I think she really resembles her mother now. I recently saw a picture from her first wedding when she was so young, almost a teenager, in that princess Leia getup...and now she is older than her mother was when she died. How time flies.

  2. No need to try, I will not get used to these trousers...

    1. I agree. The top is great but the pants not so much.

  3. Wow ! Princess Caroline is stunning. Everything is perfect. She is probably wearing high-couture here. Her make-up is natural and her hair is better than it was lately.

  6. The third photo; she really looks like her Mom! Like her outfit, classy, as is her makeup and hair styled well. On the fence about the huge over the top earrings, but everything else looks really well done.

  7. I normally like wide trousers but not so much fullness around the waist unless the bottoms are far wider than the top. and these are just too long or she should have worn higher heels to at least stop sweeping the floor clean for the place she is visiting. I also think she has a bit too much make up on it is ageing her somewhat. As one gets older the foundation tends to accentuate the wrinkles more. Not that wrinkles are so bad but I for one don't feel the need to make them more obvious.

  8. I like everything about this outfit, the very festive top, the elegant palazzo pants, and even the oversized earrings and ring that would normally seem a little too much given the eye catching top, work perfectly for this outfit. She is so very elegant!

    4. I normally really like her style but that top looks like something a matron in Las Vegas would wear to a Maj Jong party, sorry. And she has ruined her beauty with smoking and sun; the changes are unbelievable. Still, to look like after all that abuse shows what a stunning woman she was.

  11. I think she has never been more satisfied with herself than in these days.

She is so relaxed and at ease and has found the best of all styles. Glowing and so naturally fresh.

Always a pleasure to watch her. She really deserves this peace of mind after all those rough times.

  12. I think she is a very beautiful and elegant lady. The ensemble looks terrific on her and complements her skin and hair wonderfully. Maybe go a bit ligther on the dark liner on the lower lid, but it is a minor complaint (if even).

  13. Never a fan of wide pants, but this time they don't bother me that much as the top is superb and draw all attention to the upper body. PC looks stunning tonight!

  14. What an irrelevant and indulgent event at this time in global history. Sustainable, authentic, and sensitive representation is what the fashion world is about now. This lady is grasping at straws lately which is painful to see.

Any of us who follow the main niche fashion magazines can see that this throwback adulation is not useful right now.

Princess Caroline does not endorse her niece's fashion line, and her relationship with corporate branding for herself and her daughter is odd considering that it does not promote designers from Monaco or have any relevance to her royal status.

Not a fan of this entire situation. Ugly pants too.

    2. So we should all starve and have absolutely no joy in life because some are suffering? How reasonable is that? If the situation were reversed?

  15. Back to her elegant best. Thank goodness she has done something about her hair which was just depressing, since she is naturally so beautiful, for a while. Love the sparkly top, the wide trousers and even the earrings (though are they not a little like Christmas tree baubles??)

  16. This is a beautiful ensemble. The Princess looks divine, she is stunning here. Her hair and makeup are done perfectly. In the second last photo she reminds me so much of Princess Grace.

  17. I think she looks gorgeous, the best she has looked for a long time.
The outfit is perfect for her shape and the colour wow, amazing on her.
The trousers suit her, because she is slim with no hips to worry about.

  18. Gorgeous!!! I love Caroline's whole look--that top is fabulous. I also love that she also wore some major jewelry--her brooch does get a bit lost in the colors and shine of the top but so what.

  21. I think P. Caroline is the most elegant of any of the royal ladies!! Her ensembles are always light years away from all the others and this one is spectacular. The top is just so pretty and draws attention to her face . Her makeup is tasteful and really makes her eyes pop!! I love the earrings which catapult her outfit into beautiful evening wear and I love the color of the pants and the cut which make them more formal. She never disappoints!!

  23. @ C... let's all buy clothing made in China, and forget about how many jobs high fashion industry creates. OK you had your condescending rant, now traje a chill pill.
