  2. Beautiful dress with matching handbag which QL wears well. I like 'cape coat', but it looks nicer when worn with the arms in the sleeves.

    1. It is a cape, obviously no sleeves... where do you see them?

    2. In picture 9 one gets the impression there are sleeves (but maybe that's my imagination) ... that might explain the many buttons, as these make no sense for a cape imo

  3. They both look great, the queen recovered these 2 pieces, cape & dress that we have seen before and combined them exquisitely, I like that she’s carrying a regular handbag instead of those silly clutches, and this particular one from an Italian firm, perhaps a nod to their guests, and affordable.
Ms. Mattarela’s outfit is fabulous, stylish and so chic, although it ages her a bit, nevertheless, fabulous! Can’t wait to see the formal dinner pictures tonight.

  4. I've never cared for exposed snaps, not sure what the solution is other than to keep all snaps firmly closed - they just somehow seem to be a flaw on the garment. Letizia's cape is a case in point. Otherwise acceptable ensemble but bland. Not liking flyaway ends on hair worn loose. S.M.
