On October 14, 2021, Queen Elizabeth, her son the Prince of Wales and his wife the Duchess of Cornwall attended the opening ceremony of the sixth session of the Welsh Parliament (Senedd) in Cardiff. The Queen wore a Stewart Parvin outfit involving a rose cashmere double breasted A-line coat, a silk dress of autumnal woodland florals in shades of grey, fuchsia and olive.

  1. For once Camilla does not look so good. I think it is the fire engine red that just does not suit her. A cooler red suits her far better.
Now the Queen OOOH! Have you ever seen anything so marvellous. This is total perfection. I think this must be her number one double star colour on her colour wheel. We don't see her so often in more muted colours but this really suits her.

  2. Camilla rarely wears red and I'm not so sure I like her in it here. Or perhaps I'm just not used to it. Same goes for the departure from her usual style of hats. And I really don't like her face mask hanging from one ear.
The Queen looks lovely in dusty rose. The black detailing on her coat looks beautiful with her gloves and bag.

  3. Ravissante dans ce rose poudré dont les boutons noirs attirent le regard ; elle a toute ma préférence par rapport au rouge vif de Camilla !

  4. The Queen's coat in dusty rose is gorgeous. She is the big winner here.
Camilla's red dress-coat looks horrible. Although I like the little hat, I wonder why that face mask is hanging there. A combination of a black or navy coat with the red hat would have been nice.

  5. Her Majesty is a miracle of perfection here!
Her Majesty is a miracle of perfection!
So charming and clearheaded ( hear her conversation published by the Daily Mail),
oh, why do Ch. and Camilla not have a better look at this impeccable example?
Charles’ suit needs a press, and Camilla, in surprising good red ensemble, should not be this nonchalant with her face mask: it totally spoils the overall good impression.

  6. Love the Queen’s outfit/color combo, smashing hat and brooch, not crazy about the lapel, right angle cut above the buttons.
DoC- love the brooch, off color for her and the curtain tassels on the back darts and the hat take away from the outfit- overly fussy, gild the lily/over-egg the pudding.
PC- loved the suit, tie and handkerchief but something seemed uncharacteristically off about the cut of his suit.
Lastly, face mask on or off -hanging from the ear just looks ridiculous no matter who you are.

  8. HM is gorgeous in her beautiful dusty rose ensemble!!! Pinks are the best color for her complexion--she has always had beautiful skin and pinks give her a special glow. Camilla does tend to look better softer tones or jewel tones--but this fire engine red is not one of her most flattering colors. I do love the styling though. Even though the color isn't one of her best, Camilla looks good--I am thinking she chose the color because she was in Wales. I do admit that I have never seen Charles look anything but very debonaire in a suit--his elegance has only been surpassed by his late father. But, that one photo of his trousers--it has to be the photo because he actually looks messy.

  9. I absolutely love Camilla's look here. This is a different look for her and it looks fantastic. I think she pulls off that bright red wonderfully. Her hair looks great with that hat.
Of course, HM the Queen looks beautiful in that dusty rose pink. The flowers on her hat add a nice touch.
