As the Honorary Air Commandant of the RAF Air Cadets, the Duchess of Cambridge visited Royal Air Force Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. During her visit, the Duchess met with RAF air crews and medics who supported evacuees at Kabul Airport, and civilians and volunteers who established a repatriation centre at Brize Norton.
Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh was the Air Commodore-in-Chief of the Air Training Corps for 63 years before he handed over the title to the Duchess of Cambridge in 2015. Royal Air Force Brize Norton in Oxfordshire is the largest station of the Royal Air Force.

ردحذفAlso, being a female on the tall side myself (5'8 and 3/4 to be exact) I love it when we wear heels of any height that suits our fancy that day. Just because the majority of the rest of you are only knew high to a duck doesn't mean we have to stay flat on the ground. ;D

I chuckled at the duck imagery. At a “towering” 5’-9” myself, I’d blend into the tall club with Kate, Max, Mathilde and Charlene. If only I could persuade them to lend me a tiara or two…sigh.

ردحذفThis jacket is not her best colour, she is looking very pale, something is just not right in her face. Her makeup is not showing up because of this colour, or she has very little on?
ردحذفI think her navy trouser are very nice on her, she is tall she can carry it, it's the jacket that is not the perfect colour for her.
She does not carry a handled bag comfortably, they always look awkward on her, especially smaller ones, she is better with a larger bag or a clutch.
She does not look her sparkly self today.
Great to see her after so long. The semi casual look is appropriate for the event and all the pieces are fine but I look forward to seeing her in something brighter and more formal. It was obviously windy so I guess a dress would have been difficult!
ردحذفI like the outfit. The hair needs sorting out; perhaps the sides need to be pulled around to the back of the head; nothing more annoying than hair flicking across someone's face. The handbag seems inappropriate; she is not here to buy something.

To me, this is a very functional outfit but also a very drab outfit.

I'm not crazy about the long column of black, thanks to the high waisted trousers that thankfully the jacket breaks up when it is buttoned. Again quite functional, but drab/boring. The pieces would look better paired with other things. Nice to see Kate though.

ردحذفThe people she met are all dressed in the same colour. Mostly camouflage, some blue. I am quite sure the "drabness" ist something she wanted, no need to wear something bright wenn all the others cannot. (-Ann)
ردحذفIf I had one tiniest quibble ! It would be her beautiful hair ! If out on duty in the open air, a ponytail would have been better choice ! Stops the hair blowing into her face ! Other than that, I thought she looks great ! Good to have her back on duty after the summer break ! Ana
