On Wednesday 15 September, Dutch Queen Máxima opened the House of Culture and Administration of the municipality of Midden-Groningen in Hoogezand. The library, the music school, the Kielzog theater and the town hall are all in the new building. The new building was built in two phases. Queen Maxima opened the new building together with three primary school students from central Groningen.
Then, Queen Maxima visited the music school, the Kielzog theater and the new council chamber of the town hall. For the purpose of improving the quality level of facilities and the urban profile of the centre of Hoogezand, it was decided to group the town hall, library, arts centre and theatre in one prominent, public building.

حذفUgly dress in drab colours, looking cheap, especially the skirt with the messy hemline. And again, Maxima looks uncomfortable and, strange as it may be, unelegant on these very high heels. These extremely high and thin heels make her legs look heavier. The shoes in itself are very beautiful and elegant but they do nothing for her nor for her posture.

I must disagree with you about the heels. Thin heels are elegant, and Maxima has nice legs. You are forced to have better posture when wearing them to keep your balance. A chunky, clunky shoe is easier to walk in, does not look as elegant (if at all, depending on the shoe), and one can be lazier with their posture because of the extra stability provided by the sole /heel.
حذفMy pet peeve, the belt, makes this ugly dress even worse. She can't leave well enough alone. The thin, disappearing belt that came with the dress would have been more than enough, but she had to add a wide, obnoxious belt to draw attention to her thick waist. I can't find anything positive about her outfit. ~d
Agree with Lily T. on the dress and heels! Also, I think a torturously forced "good" Posture is not good, and one can see it, it looks uncomfortable because it is unnatural.
حذفI do not understand this obsession with sky high heels, especially with very tall women, as if they needed the height.
A moderate heel looks much more elegant and the wearer much more relaxed.
Somehow this dress looks washed out to me.

ردحذفThe flimsy dress doesn't flatter her frame and makes her look boxy. The pattern and the colours do nothing for her. Máxima should put this dress away quickly. Nevertheless the matching accessories are lovely.

حذفNO, to this look. The fabric of this dress is just ugly, it seems to wrinkle easily and the buttons look awkward, although it could be that she is wearing the wrong bra ( o not at all) as she often does. The final effect is a sea of bland browns and beiges that aren’t flattering.

Everything about this look is a NO. Capital N and O. The dress is drab, unflattering and looks poorly made (but probably isn't). The shoes don't look like they even match (maybe just the lighting). This style of shoe isn't flattering on her anymore. That heavy suede look weighs her leg down and the super high stiletto looks like it is about to buckle in some pics. She really would look great in well tailored neutral, basic pieces. Hey, atleast her hair is tied back. :)

Like the hat, shoes and bag. The style of the dress is okay but the colours are, as someone lese has said, dull and drab. Thanks for the information that is is silk, Josh, which explains why it is crushing so badly. If it's silk, it won't be cheap, but it looks it, unfortunately. Not a disaster but nothing like as good as yesterday.

Why is everything she wears always so wrinkled? I know it is a silk dress and silk sometimes wrinkles but there are silk weaves that do not.
