On Thursday September 9, 2021, Princess Anne, Princess Royal and the Countess of Wessex attended the second day of the Westmorland County Show in Crooklands, Cumbria. The Princess Anne and the Countess spoke with representatives from charities they are involved with and also with exhibitors at the show.
The Westmorland County Agricultural Society was established in 1799 and is a registered charity which supports agriculture and related activities in and around the county of Westmorland. The Society organizes the Westmorland County Show annually.

Hmmm...what to say...two nice ladies at a fun show having a good time, but as far as fashion goes, quite bad. The colors and fabrics of Anne's outfit are more suited for summer or spring. Even then I do not care for the jacket with this dress. Sophie's jacket is the only good piece. I just wish she had not paired it with a white skirt and pink shirt. That jacket could have looked great with a white shirt and a skirt or pants in the tan/brown family with some cute boots.

This was my immediate impression as well by the time I got to the last photo: both ladies could have done a better job dressing for an agricultural fair/show. They both have loads of suitable garments in their wardrobes as we have seen on numerous occasions when they shouldn't have been wearing them, lol.

Anne a ressorti cette tenue classique aux jolies couleurs estivales, tout à fait son style ; élégante la veste de Sophie mais je pense que son haut aurait été mieux de couleur blanche comme la jupe ; très jolie pochette bicolore - Dommage, je ne vois pas très bien ses chaussures ainsi que ses boucles d'oreilles dormeuses que je pourrais mettre dans mon écrin à bijoux !

Très belle jupe à panneaux pour Sophie. Veste joliment coupée et chemisier à collerette rose poudre sont d'un bel effet. Toujours très plaisante à regarder.

ردحذفThe countess is a very attractive lady and use to be a trendsetter when it comes to fashion. You would think since she will be attending more patronages she would update her wardrobe like it use to be. The three colors and textures just do not work, Sorry!
ردحذفWhile this is not Sophie's best look. I think overall she has done a good job of updating her wardrobe. This is just a rare miss.

Great to see the sisters-in-law working together. Love Princess Anne's summery look (keep summer going as long as possible!). I like Countess Sophie's jacket and skirt but the tee shirt looks crumpled.
