  1. Quelle silhouette de rêve dans cette robe aux épaules dénudées qui ne mérite pas de porter une ceinture comme celle du mannequin, ni les grosses chaussures ; la raie sur un côté pourrait donner très joli mouvement à sa coiffure !

Believe I would like the dress better if the boat neck was a bit more pronounced and the CP had her hair up. As far as I'm concerned, the dress calls for an accent (the model is wearing a belt). Still, she looks good and is well dressed for the dinner party.

In this Alexander McQueen dress she looks like a sister of Duchess Kate.
Very beautiful like it is. Anything must be changed i.m.o. Perfect! MJ

    2. Agree re strong resemblance to Duchess of Cambridge. More than once, I have seen the photo on this site and thought one was the other before I read the caption. Mind you, I thought from the initial photos that the Countess of Wessex was Queen Maxima last week so perhaps it's time for a new eye teat!

    3. Also agree that the dress is perfect on CP Mary

  3. There is something about this dress that is throwing me off. Maybe it's just the pattern, as it looks like the dress is rolled/bunched up around a few places, including her waist. Her hair and makeup look fantastic though.

Had the dress been a different colour I would have loved it.
The black and white is rather boring, and not really flattering Mary.

Mary has great posture and poise. This style of dress can be unforgiving ! In this instance, Mary carries it off beautifully! A thin belt might have been the cherry on top for me ! Her hair and makeup and accessories are on point. Ana

I love her dress. Her hair is bit too sleek for me. I would have prefered an updo or a bun.

It resembles very much her Temperley gown.

  11. Mary looks fabulous in this dress! Her posture and her slim figure are perfect for a style like this. I believe she has worn this dress before and that the Duchess of Cambridge has it a different color (white or cream). My only quibble is her hair--I wish it were fuller or pulled up as I think the slim silhouette needs something softer than her choice of sleek hairstyle.

Sadly the dress looks terrible; synthetics use a great deal of energy to make, natural fibres are softer and don't cause damage to the environment in land fill. Princess Mary's hair looks looks it is stuck to her head; like a cheap wig. Her makeup looks nice; she has a good suntan.

Love the dress. Missing that little something extra that elevates a look for me- either a skinny belt or a pair of shoes in a fun color. I think I would prefer a fuller blow-out. Gorgeous earrings and make-up.

  14. Mary looks wonderful. I would like to see more of her earrings. They seem to match this dress perfectly.

Indeed like someone writing above it's a really lovely dress but indeed more than once I also have the feeling that she likes to copy the Duchess of Camebridge

    1. She doesn't need to copy anybody.
I think both princesses have a similar taste in fashion, that's all.

One should think she wanted to be original with her own style.
