Love the coordinated shades of blue. All three ladies look lovely and the King looks handsome.

  3. Another great coordinated effort for the family. My favorite is Sofia though. Her dress is youthful and fresh, and her hair is great in that half-up style. The strappy shoes are a great addition. I do like the print of Leonor's dress. I'm glad to see this denim dress of Letizia's again, it is so versatile. I do wish she would have worn different shoes though.

  4. Pretty Dresses on the Girls, but more suitable for younger children? That's my Impression anyway. Especially Leonors Dress, why does a pretty young Lady have to wear such a childish frock ? Her younger sisters dress is pretty and more age appropriate.
I like the Queens dress, shapely, simple and casual, the striped dress on the other Lady (don't know who she is) looks awful, does nothing for her.

    1. Leonor's dress is not childish; you can also see such dresses for women.

    2. Agree with you, the girls are always dressed in clothes that are for younger girls.

    4. In Spain we have no interest in making 15-year-old girls look older. Adolescence has just begun and Sofía is a 14-year-old girl. It seems that the concept of childhood is different in Spain than in other countries. Let's not be in a hurry, because they are girls and we will always have time to comment on their "dress models" when they are adults.

  6. The two sisters will be true beauties. In the morning I liked Sofía's dress better, which looked lovely including her original hairstyle, but at night the winner was Leonor.
They are of an age when they can afford to dress more or less youthful, as they want and I am glad.
Adult life lasts a lifetime, and I love that they continue to enjoy their youth a little longer.
    Adorable the two sisters

Be mindful of declaring 'winners'. It implies that Sofia was the loser. Teenagers are sensitive people. This is actually a version of the dress her sister wore to the submarine ceremony recently. As you have said, Mom has to walk a fine line between too glam, age appropriate, and their physical development when choosing outfits. Marie

I love the colour coordination here - everyone in shades of blue. I think the dresses on the girls are entirely appropriate. I often sigh with dismay at too many ruffles worn by adult royals, but here the dresses are light, soft, and youthful. (V.M.)

  11. Love the coordinating shades of blue. The Queen’s dress is smart, elegant, and looks so comfortable. Both girls ‘ dresses are very young looking for teenage girls. Leonor’s is a lovely print and just about okay but Sofia’s is like a little girl’s party dress.

  12. I looked at these photos after going over the Zara website looking for a summer dress and found the comment about Leonor's dress being childish interesting in that context. These childish frocks are what young women are wearing this summer. It's either these kinds of puffy ruffled dresses or absolutely figure hugging slips. So the two princesses here are right on trend and younger readers will probably admire the looks. Needless to say, between the puffy ruffled dresses and the figure hugging slips I found nothing I could wear from Zara this summer.

Oh what a lovely family. Love the use of different shades of blues.
My favorite is Sofia. Her hair up on the top bun looks fun and edgy. Suddenly she looks more grown-up but its this lovely fresh and youthful look (not trying to look 20+ like some teen girls try to look).
Leonor looks sweet, cute and beautiful.
Lovely to see this Carolina Herrera denim dress again. It looks great on Letizia (like most of her outfits).
Felipe is very handsome and well dressed man.

Muy guapas juveniles y en tendencia las chicas. El vestido de Letizia no es de mi gusto pero ella se ve cómoda con el.

Love how the family can create a color story around a shades of a single color. Young Sofia is her mother's mini me. That dress is reminiscent of a blush colored one her mom wore on a visit to France a few years ago.
