Queen Margrethe attended the Queen's Clock Parade 2021 held by the Royal Life Guards

Today, Queen Margrethe attended the Queen's Clock Parade 2021 held by the Royal Life Guards at the Life Guards' Barracks at Rosenborg Castle. The Queen presented the "Queen's Clock" to the guard Markus Emanuel Strøm who has been selected as the best guard of the service period by the superiors and comrades.

The presentation of the clock has been a tradition since 1970, when it was started in connection with Frederik IX's 70th birthday. At the change of throne in 1972, the clock changed its name to "The Queen's Clock", and the Queen has since then continued the tradition.

    Love the red/navy combo, especially the gloves (though one is caught in a sleeve).

  2. Tenue idéale pour cette cérémonie annuelle ; je pense l'avoir déjà vue ; très jolie cette couleur rouge - Qui pourrait dire qui est l'officier que nous voyons en différentes occasions suivre la Reine en particulier à sa gauche ?
