Loved the top, expected to see a skirt, but pants and too short, oh Beatrice please dont wear these trousers again.

She looks lovely but not the trousers.

    1. To me the pants are ok! Women tend to wear them a bit shorter than men, I agree on that, ankles can be seen, they are not ugly at all.

Agree, the top is really wonderfull, it is a pity that the trousers are too short, otherwise it would have been a surprisingly young outfit!

I don't like this outfit, the over done puffed sleeves, the print on the side and style, it does nothing for the Queen. The trousers are definitely too short. - mjt

I don't see anything wrong with the length of the pants. There is no rule about pant length for women, especially now. Almost anything goes providing they are styled well. I prefer older women in more classic, elegant styles. Princess Benedikte is a prime example. I think this top has too much going on, especially for a woman of her age. The bottom of the sleeves are overdone. Removing one element, like everything under the ruffle, would help. I don't think the side panel is needed either. If she were younger, I would suggest tailoring the pants a little so they weren't as wide, and shortening the top a bit. I like the deeper blue on her and she looks absolutely delightful. It's just a pity that this outfit has a "Maxima took me shopping" vibe. ~d

I don't think the trousers are too short at all. This is the length I like my trousers to be. I can't stand it when women wear trousers and the legs puddle on the floor, covering the shoes and feet. I love my shoes and often pay a lot of money for them -- I don't want them to be hidden, nor do I want my trouser legs to be dragging through dirt, getting filthy.

  8. I fully agree with Teshan, I already supported the length of the trousers as well, however I don't like the mix of material. I also agree with comment of Tulipe33.

  9. I think the outfit is lovely , age appropriate, but the pants are definitely too short. Unless you are extremely thin, tall and willowy, stick with trousers that touch the top of your foot when you walk.
