On the 2nd day of their visit to Northern Ireland, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall began the day by visiting Hillsborough Castle and there, they met with staff and signed the visitors’ book. Afterwards, they visited the open-air market in Bangor, County Down, where they browsed locally sourced produce including a range of organic goods and met with stallholders.

    1. It seems to be a different dress, I don't like the little cape.

  2. I think this would've looked way better without the cape. The dress is nice, as are the cream touches of the blouse. But the cape makes her look bigger and the upper part with the shoulders looks boxy.
For being outside, I get the use of the cape, but a short black jacket or a blazer would've looked much better.

For once THE boots make sense given the nature of the second leg of her visit in the horse stables. But the rest of the outfit is a mix-n-match of items thrown in together with no apparent logic or vision. That cape has still to find its purpose in life - yet again, today's engagement was not it ....

  4. Could one of her entourage perhaps discreetly dispose of this cape, which I've yet to see improve one of the Duchess's outfits, along with the black boots? Think I quite like the dress/pinafore beneath it.

  5. I think the Queen should declare a public holiday to celebrate when the Duchess get those boots off.
A public holiday called DDD (Duchess's De-booting Day).

I agree! I am tired of them as well. I know there are other options out in the world that would work for her. If that day (DDD) ever happens, I will fly the Union Jack here in the States in celebration!

As for her cape, I think it is too short. Maybe if it was a little longer it wouldn't look as...off? ~d

  6. The Duchess has a warm and charming smile, but her entire outfit is a total miss for me. Nothing matches well.
