According to a recent announcement by Buckingham Palace, Princess Beatrice is pregnant with her first child with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. It has been announced that the couple are expecting a child in the autumn of 2021. The baby will be eleventh in line of succession to the British throne.
On social media, the Royal Family wrote "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in the autumn of this year. The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."
Princess Beatrice’s baby will be a second grandchild for the Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York. The baby will also be a cousin for August Brooksbank, the son of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, who was born in February 2021. In addition, the new royal baby will be a twelfth great grandchild for the Queen and the fourth she will welcome this year.
