Orchids are called “ran” in Japanese, and many visitors took photos of “Spring ‘Ran’ Way,” a display of 30,000 Japanese orchid flowers of the Ebine variety that bloom in many colors, such as purple and orange. The show started in 1991 and has grown into one of the world's largest floral events, with a specific focus on orchids.

  2. Princess Takamado is always very smartly dressed and I really like the colour and the cut of this suit. The bag and mask add a fun pop of pink.

  3. I am a relatively recent newcomer to this blog. From what I have seen to date, I think Princess Takamado is one of the most stylish dressers in the Japanese Royal Family. Her daughter is always very fashionable too. This suit is a lovely shade of green, and as mentioned above, her pink mask and bag are perfect complements. Do I see a bit of pink in her jewelry too?

  4. Lovely smart suit in a great colour. Appreciate the understated but always smart formal outfits worn by this lady. Some of her European counterparts could use her as a role model.
