  2. In the second photos she looks so like Prince Sverre Magnus. While I think the lovely Princess Ingrid Alexandra is very like her grandmother, I've never seen him especially like either parent but now I can.

    1. My thoughts exactly! I often thought that Sverre Magnus didn´t particularly look like either of his parents, but in these photos, I can totally see the similarity to his mother. Maybe that´s in part because of those large glasses.

Magnus looks like his great grandfather, the late King Olav. Hare are 2 photos you can see the spitting image. https://sosialnytt.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/sverre-og-olav.png

  3. What a wonderful conversation between the princess and Ms. Strayed. I find it touching that Mette-Marit was so star struck by Ms. Strayed, instead of the other way around. I was also amazed at how well MM spoke English. She speaks as though we were born to it.

I agree with Annie m that I see that Sverre Magnus favors his mother, and that Ingrid Alexander looks more like her father.

And, who would have thought that Prince Haakon would be the one to shovel snow in order to get the car out of the garage? The Norwegian crown prince family seem so normal and that is so refreshing.

I don't know if I could love this any more than I already do.
MM is wonderful..such a down to earth, honest, caring person. No unnecessary airs or graces..just a lovely person. I'm moved and touched by her commitment and caring for her literary train project and touching the lives of adults and children through reading and imagination. Brava!

She is so down to earth and authentic. I love that she doesn't try to cover her emotions whether it be her excitement at meeting a favorite author or being moved to tears at a concert. Her love of literature shines. Her English is fantastic.

Such a lovely and dignified lady!
There's a certain someone out there in the US who seems to think that she's the only one who has suffered in life, but Mette-Marit grew up with an alcoholic father, which led to her rebellion in her teens and twenties. Coming into a royal family with a child and a past like that can't have been easy, but she did it with grace.

MM is just fantastic! She comes across like a girlfriend. She has so much passion for reading and it is contagious. I agree with so many of the comments above. It is refreshing to see such a relatable royal. It is always a shame that some keep finding a way to go off topic and work their personal agenda into otherwise lovely comments, even posting as anonymous. ~d

  9. Toujours aussi charmante, pleine de naturel mais à mon humble avis, il me semble que ses lunettes de forme carrée lui mangent trop son petit visage - Très jolie blondeur !

I rarely comment here but Mette-Marit just wowed me.....So approachable. She just shows how to do it right. None of this formality and scripted presentation. She looks fabulous and maintains a level of dignity without seeming fake. I love it. Now I want to check out this author too 😀. BD
