On March 4, Danish Crown Princess Mary participated in a roundtable meeting on ICPD + 26 (International Conference on Population and Development) - status of women and girls' health and rights as a follow-up to the Nairobi Summit held in 2019 at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen. The roundtable meeting aimed to discuss the results of the Nairobi Summit.
The Nairobi Summit took place in November 2019 as a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the ICPD Agreement, which aims to help ensure the rights of girls and women, including sexual and reproductive health and rights. Last year, the Crown Princess joined the UN Population Fund UNFPA's newly established independent ICPD25 High Level Commission to follow up on the global commitments made at the Nairobi Summit.

ردحذفShe looks phenomenal! The red short-sleeved blazer with the black turtle neck sweater and black pants are spectacular. The gold necklace is perfect, and the scarf with black gloves are the perfect accompaniment for outside.

I thought the same about the necklace at first, but in closer look I don't think it is a necklace, I think it is a pattern of the sweater around the base of the turtleneck, you can see it repeated at the edge of each sleeve too (which I initially mistook for bangles)..... And after this "discovery" the black + cream scarf makes perfect sense and ties in even more perfectly with the whole ensemble!
حذفthe only thing I am not very convinced about is the longer hair. It is nicely styled, it is flowy and all, but for some reason I don't like it very much on Mary. It actually gives me "older but trying hard to look younger" sort of vibes.... especially in the indoor photos. In the outdoors ones it looks a bit better, maybe because of the brighter light. But that's a minor quibble.
Interesting to see no masks, even at close proximity (arrival photos). Maybe Denmark is more advanced in vaccinating the population?
