As patron of the charity SafeLives, The Duchess of Cornwall held a video conference to discuss the new 'Ask for ANI' programme with Suzanne Jacob, Chief Executive of the charity, and Rachel Williams, a pioneer for the charity and survivor of domestic abuse. During the video conference, The Duchess received information from the two representatives of domestic violence charity SafeLives about the new government-supported Ask for ANI programme launched in January.

The 'Ask for ANI' (Action Needed Immediately) programme allows victims of domestic violence to discreetly use a codeword in order to access help. When a customer asks for ANI, a trained pharmacy worker will offer a private space where they can understand the victims needs, speak to the police, or provide access to specialist support services and helplines.

  1. La duchesse paraît bien sereine que sur la troisième image dans un cadre douillet avec son feu de cheminée mais sa veste manque un peu de couleur ; un peu triste cette couleur noire !

  2. I have to say what I said about Maxima mutter, mutter, clutter, clutter. Dear duchess I am so distracted by those two big round objects (are they fans with covers) on either side of the fireplace that I can't concentrate on what you are saying (also on what she is wearing but that is not important except to our blog).
The Duchess does look very elegant though the dark colour with touches of white really suit her.

  3. Love the cluttered homely background, especially the blazing fire and the lovely tulips. I love getting a glimpse into the less formal rooms--as we did with the Princess Royal's sitting room during the rugby last Saturday---it too was a cheerful, homely clutter. The Duchess looks smart enough, but agree with Tulipe that she looks better in brighter colours

  4. What impresses me most about the room in which the Duchess conducted her on-line meeting is that she didn't insist on staging the area. What we see is the environment in which she lives, clutter and all. I love it, and I love how she is able to put people at ease. Her black jacket and white blouse is nothing spectacular, but nice.

I think you are quite right: nothing staged her, natural Camilla, no pretence.
      Like it.

    2. She has the origins of a down to earth country (horsey) girl.
Clutter and organised mess is part of this lifestyle.
