  1. Probably not the right shoes for the winter conditions, and and yellow is not my favorite color, particularly that yellow! The combination of material and colors on the model is just awful.

  2. Why doesn't she wear the coat just as it should be worn, with her arms in the sleeves? Her way of wearing it gives her a very broad silhoutette.
The combination of colours is beautiful. I'm afraid the top accentuates her broad hips. But altogether quite a nice outfit.

    1. Yellow and grey are the colours of 2021. And this is their message

"The union of an enduring Ultimate Gray with the vibrant yellow illuminating expresses a message of positivity supported by fortitude. Practical and rock-solid but at the same time warming and optimistic, this is a colour combination that gives us resilience and hope."

  4. I like the bright top/jacket with the neutral gray trousers. The neutral gray doesn't add any competition, and black would have been too dark I think. I wish she would have ditched the neck scarf though, the bright color doesn't need any adornment. It looks like quite a windy day, and her hair still looks good, just very slightly wind blown (she needs to give tips to Maxima lol). On a side note, and I know it's "fashion", but I wish people would put their arms in coats, or otherwise wear capes.

  5. Aaagh, the coat as cape thing once more. Not my personal favourite colour but it certainly brightens a dull day and suits the Queen. Is it a scarf, Chel, or the collar of the blouse? Either way, I think it would be improved without it. Kudos to her for risking the heels in the wintry weather!

  6. Probably not the right shoes for the weather, indeed, and the top should have been much longer in order to give her a sleeker silhouette, but I like the color combination. And she should have worn the coat as a coat, not as a cape.

Coats have been worn over the shoulders for decades. It is nothing new. Princess Grace was doing it in the early 50s, and she was hardly the first.

It is difficult to tell just how yellow the coat and top are because the shade varies from photo to photo, but the brighter it is, the worse it looks. I have never liked Mathilde in pants. She does not dress well for her body type, and this is no exception. Her top is waist length, accentuation her short body, and long legs. I think she needs to wear longer tops, untucked and unbelted, to disguise where her natural waist is. The top should also cover the crotch of her pants so she looks more evenly proportioned. I like grey and yellow together, however these two shades are not the best tones together.

I agree. Mathilde could look so much better...... there is always something “off”, something just not right. The same holds for Maxima. No coincidence that they both like Natan clothes which never fit properly and which never do anything for anyone.....

  9. Belle combinaison de ce jaune bouton-d’or et de ce gris clair ; jolies boucles d'oreilles - J'adore son léger changement de coiffure tout en gardant une petite longueur !
