  1. At least they are wearing masks. Now would be a good time for leather gloves as well.

    1. What do you mean "at least"? They have been pictured wearing masks on a number of occasions!

Why gloves? Did anybody shake hands?

Masks and gloves are required in a number of places in Italy due to the Corona emergency and this has nothing to do with shaking hands.
Social distance is compulsory in Italy as well.
Maybe these same rules are valid in Germany too.

    3. You can easily desinfect hands, but not leather gloves. They are not really safe.

    4. If you are wearing a mask it should be a properly fitting surgical one. A pice of cloth hanging from your nose tip makes no difference.

I did not mean leather gloves.
We use disposable ones plus compulsory disinfection in a lot of places.

    6. Anon 7.16 nobody is wearing a piece of cloth hanging from their nose tip. It does make a difference to the spread of Covid-19 wearing a mask, even a non-surgical one.

    7. @3:05 "at least" because for months and months the BRF have been out and about without masks and some have been a bit lax in social distancing. The first and second in line to the throne have contracted COVID and they still didn't wear masks. They are finally acting more responsibly. That is why "at least".

    8. Anon 6:47 - at the time masks were not especially recommended. As the advice has changed (and the UK finally made changes) they have worn masks. They have merely followed the advice given. Haven't seen where they haven't socially distanced.

      But everyone's a critic...

  3. They should put down those warpoppies in Berlin. Wearing war-glorifying symbols is a huge no-go in Germany. Royals are not above the law.

    1. Poppies honour the dead. They help us commemorate the sacrifices made for our freedom. If anything, they are a symbol of hope. To say that they glorify war is sick and twisted. I am sorry for you.

    2. What an utterly stupid remark. The poppies are a symbol to commemorate soldiers who have died in battles since WWI. This gesture was inspired by "In Flanders Fields", a poem written by a Canadian soldier in 1915. I suggest you read this poem and try to grasp the meaning of it. In Germany, today is a day of remembrance to commemorate the victims of WW I and WW II. As a german citizen I think this is a very touching and appropriate gesture. Rina

These are by no means "war-glorifying" symbols. These are symbols to honor fallen soldiers. Germany caused both world wars, so I think that the people of Germany should remember the victims of the war all the more. (I am a history teacher).
Ten million victims in World War I and 55 million victims of World War II deserve it.

    4. They aren't warpoppies. They're poppies and they don't glorify war, they commemorate the fallen and are a reminder of the awfulness of war.

    5. It is possible to buy those poppies in Berlin. They are well known.

So strange they are allowed to make official trips abroad due to the Corona pandemic.

  5. Camilla wears a nice coat.
His Royal Highness should learn not always to put a hand in a pocket, doesnot look civilized.

  7. Both look great. I like Camilla's coat very much and the mask with the floral pattern.

  8. It is so good that in 2020 we can commemorate together the wars we once fought against each other!

  9. Lovely well fitted coat in a nice colour for Camilla. The coupled are in Germany to join in the national day of mourning to remember the dead so the remembrance poppy is entirely suitable.

  10. I really like this coat. The color is lovely, the what seems to be houndstooth weaving pattern adds interest, the fit is impeccable, and it looks warm!
