  1. Magnifique dans cette robe-bustier qui met en valeur ses délicates rondeurs ; j'adore sa parure diamants/rubis mais pas du tout la broche épinglée à sa taille ! La coiffure sans cette petite tresse aurait suffit !

The dress is beautiful - love the rich colour and fabric - as are the jewels. I do not like the hair at all especially the little plastered down curls - and some of the poses are a bit silly.

  3. Her jewels are gorgeous. Her hairstyle is very intricate and pretty. The curls on her forehead remind me of Betty Boop. Her royal purple gown is interesting. It seems overly cumbersome and the dual trains a bit silly, but a good way to keep one from getting to close. The gown of the other lady in the first and third pictures is better, I think. I love the dog!

Aptly reviewed Debra and I agree with all your points. All of them.

I agree about everything. I think the skirt part would have looked better if the folds were executed neater, like in the drawing. But very nice jewelry. Nice to see an evening gown anyway.

    1. Elenor, truly. Poor woman who has to sit on the floor. It's the 21st century and the Thai monarchy really still believes that they are "godlike and semi- divine" and therefore not meant to sit level to others.

Her father decided to divorce her mother and she fled to the UK with the children. At some point, he decided he wanted Sirivannavari back and had her kidnapped and brought back to Thailand. Her father had disowned her mother and her three brothers though. He sounds charming.

  6. Oh! fashion wise, too much, too much.
Had to put my sunglasses on to read the article and look at the photos.
I now understand what OTT means.

    1. And what means "OTT"?

Careful. It is a very serious crime to criticize her in any way.

"Lèse majesté in Thailand is criminalized by Section 112 of the Thai Criminal Code. It is illegal to defame, insult, or threaten the king, queen, heir-apparent, heir-presumptive, or regent. Modern Thai lèse-majesté law has been on the statute books since 1908."

A popular YouTube presenter may be facing charges in Thailand after she criticised a Miss Universe dress that was designed by the daughter of the king.
Wanchaleom Jamneanphol, a popular online TV host, has been the subject of several charges made to the police under Thailand’s notoriously strict cybercrimes and lèse-majesté laws – which make it illegal to say anything negative about the monarchy – for her comments online describing a dress designed by Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana as ugly. 19 Dec 2018

I will go to jail with you. I don't like it either.

    3. Dear Coralie. OTT is for "Over The Top" too much. Generally in a negative way.

    4. Deadeggs, thank you for the explanation - somehow my association was "old titty-twister" ;-)
And thank Anonymous 6:39 for the information. How weird the world can be...

Coralie, I like your definition of OTT so much better! It was my laugh for the day!

    2. Isn't it funny how our minds work. The second time I looked at these fashion photos, a little bell rang in my head to remind me not to forget to order my Christmas tree. Why should I associate these photos with a Christmas tree?
      The mysteries of life, no?

The dress is just boring. It looks too stiff and very old-fashioned. It could look a bit better on somebody taller though. -Siri

  11. This dress is just beautiful -- a rich purple with the highest quality of silk satin. It has been perfectly complimented with the choice of just the right jewelry. Fit for a princess, whether manor-born or not. Two things I could do without -- I don't like the train so much with its divisions and the tiny swirls of hair in the front detract.
Like so many Thai women, the princess has the most beautiful, perfect skin and this dress optimally displays its luminosity.

  12. The only good thing about the dress is the colour... The rest is just too much. Everything is a bit too much, actually.
