  3. No one in any family is immune from this disease. Charles had it first and now Princess Michael. I'm sorry to hear of her symptoms and I wish her a safe and full recovery.

    1. Don't forget Prince William. He had it several months ago, only revealing it recently. It does make one wonder if there have been more cases in the family that have been kept quiet. I wish her a speedy recovery.

  4. My wishes are that the Princess has a speedy and total recovery to good health.
On the fashion front, a Princess we don't often see. From photos I've seen, she seems to have a conservative "Royal" approach to fashion. Never a foot out of place.
She is of more interest to the media with the faux pas and controversies she presents from time to time. Nicked named as Princess Pushy by the media. Her life history, if you are interested, can be found on ............ (English version)

Again, I wish the Princess a speedy and full recovery.

    1. Is she not the same woman who wore a blackamoor broach when she was introduced to the duchess of Sussex and feigned ignorance that it was an insult?

    2. Indeed, she is the same person.

    3. Dear @Hero.
It is the same Princess and it wasn't just fake news.
But above all, I wish her a speedy recovery to good health.

  5. I love her tiara; it reminds me of my very favorite, Princess Anne’s Festoon Tiara.

I know that Princess Michael has been somewhat of a loose cannon over the years, but — besides being beautiful — she is very interesting, cultured, and knowledgeable about European history. I hope she will be well soon.

    1. Yep so cultured and knowledgeable about European history that she it was okay to wear a Blackmoor broach around Meghan.

    2. Wow I bet that brooch is expensive; so intricate and beautiful. Not quite as expensive as Oprah's 35,000 plus handbag. wasn't the brooch made in Italy; and representative of some nobility. I thought Meghan liked rich jewellery. As an aborigine ;as more people advertise us; we will not be forgotten. I think the holocost was more tragic; and what the Japanese did to the prisoners of war, and what is happening in the world today.

    3. Anonymous at 12:32 AM, I completely understand your indignation, and my view is that wearing that brooch showed extremely poor judgment on Princess Michael’s part and a lack of consideration. Interestingly, though, I learned from listening to Lady Colin Campbell (who happens to dislike Princess Michael but knows a great deal about jewelry) that such “blackamoor” brooches, when they are authentic, were crafted by Venetian artisans to depict African noblemen, not slaves. Regardless, Princess Michael is intelligent enough to have known that wearing such a piece would cause reactions such as yours, so it was wrong of her to wear it. Remember, I said she was a loose cannon :-). She is also intelligent, cultured, and knowledgeable about European history.

I thought that was inexcusable too.

This is not the oppression olympics. We aren't trying to select a winner amongst those lamentable plights. The human mind works in ways in such that it is possible simultaneously to show concern for several causes and peoples and condemn multiple injustices. Life is not a zero sum game.

    6. @ Jane Chantel......these brooches have been manufactured by a Venitian family called Nardi since the WWII, and depict Othello the Moor of Venice. they gradually became more ornate and were then advertised as depictions of the three wise men. Ignorance of their true history has been a bandwagon for BLM protesters who take offence when non was meant.

Having said that Princess Michael is a pompous ass and certainly a racist even when the object of her prejudices are white (she considers all 'colonials' are beneath her). The nardi brooch is innocent of raceism but she is not and I'm sure she wore it as a snide dig at Meghan.

  6. Princess Michael is such an elegant aristocratic lady; a brilliant mind. Hoping her recovery is speedy.

    1. Wasn’t it her brilliant mind that named two black sheep Venus and Serena? I find her neither elegant nor aristocratic in behavior. She’s a perfect example of beauty being only skin deep.

    2. Maybe she is an example of a person that has lived a rather elite, entitled life and has never had much to do with those that are "beneath" her. She doesn't strike me as a very down to earth person. I also believe she knew what she was doing when she put that brooch on. Of all the jewelry she owns, why that one? There must have been at least one other option.

    3. Elegant, intelligent, brilliant mind ......... questionable.
Her brilliant mind as an author has found her in court several times over breaches of copyright with stolen text from other authors.
She has never been "top of the pops" with the British Royal family.
But again, I repeat myself; I wish her a very speedy recovery to good health.
Hopefully she'll be out and about at Ascot next year reminding us what conservative British Royal fashion looks like.
