  1. Solaire Masako dans ce tailleur-jupe avec le chapeau assorti ; chaussures bicolores dorés qui changent agréablement de ceux portés précédemment. La princesse Mako dans le même style de tenue mais plus fade doit représenter ses parents !

  2. The Empress looks, once again, classy and gorgeous as usual. The color of her silk suit is beautiful.

These Japanese ladies are modest in public and wear clothes that fit their figures, they're not super-tight like a lot of women like to wear. Both suits here are quite nice. ~Laurel~

    2. When it goes about traditions, I wouldn't dare call it boring, although it is the impression it gives. Is it better to follow fashion rather than traditions? Just another world...

It is horrible to do to such a young princess. They should consider that their empire is shrinking due to their antiquated rules. Keeping their young princesses in these terrible clothes is not helping matters. The women are stripped of all individualism. Where is the incentive to stay?

It would be nice to see the royal ladies occasionally wear suits with pattern. They always look lovely in their neutral suits too.!

Does anyone know why the Empress' clothes always has lots of wrinkles? The material looks fabulous but it's unfortunately to see them.

I would guess that the fabric is silk.

So happy to see Princess Mako here. Is her presence a hint to a future role even when married ? Change is slow to come with the Imperial agency, but... Fashion wise there is no surprise of course but then, the silks are so beautiful, and I prefer to consider the clothes as timeless, rather than out of fashion. It is part of the things the Imperial family take on.
