Cave is an Australian singer, songwriter, author, screenwriter, composer and occasional actor, best known for fronting the rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Cave's music is generally characterised by his baritone voice, emotional intensity, a wide variety of influences and lyrical obsessions with death, religion, love and violence. The Crown Princess wore a plaid button detail pants from Sandro.

I love Mary's pants, and they look perfect with the boots. The pants fit her like a glove, as do her boots, hugging her slim ankles. Topped with a sweater, this is a beautiful casual outfit. Frederik is looking very sharp as well. He is one of the best dressed male royals when it comes to casual dress.

    1. Casual dress, yes, he is in his element.
Suits and formal dress - a lot of work to be done.

I agree. They both look not only appropriate for the event, but quite stylish. Nicely done Mary and Fredrik.

And that's Susie Cave, Nick's wife, perhaps they are both wearing her fashion label 'The Vampires Wife'? They look very cool, and Mary and Frederick look smart and happy. There is a relaxed atmosphere. When Australians get together a long way from home there's a shared cultural understanding of a sort of relaxed camaraderie and Australian humour. I suppose it's like that for everyone with their country kin. Even when one is a Danish princess. Elle

    1. I think she does her best for her new country, her husband and her future role as Queen. I also think she remains very modest. Bravo Princess Mary.
