  1. I admire the fact that Q Letizia keep bring us "old" looks, some with a small twist others completely equal, but almost always she looks very nice, and even understanding the reasons, I really miss some new looks on her... just because most of them are modern, elegant, fresh and classic (everything at the same time :) )

By saying this; once again this dress make her look great, a classic beauty! The detail of K Felipe color tie similar to the dress of Q Letizia, for me, is superb!

    3. Pfff? What are you doing here watching them?
She is a very educated princess who has spoken in public many times...probably you are not informed, because you only see the clothes but not their work.

  4. Love this family's palette. At the center is the Queen, where each family member has a coordinating colour from her dress. The king wears a dusty rose tie, Infanta Sofia a claret dress, and Cr Pss Leonor a beige or grey dress. It'd been nice to see Q Letizia in either a claret or grey belt and Leonor in a navy belt to match her shoes. Lovely to see both girls maturing into lovely teenagers with individual yet equally appropriate tastes.

  5. Oh my goodness, Princess Leonor's little kitten heel. That is so precious! Both princesses look great in their divergent dresses. I'm guessing their twinning days are coming to an end?

I'm not sure how I feel about Queen Letizia's dress. The fit is great and the print is okay but the fabric is a little stiff and it stagnates the look. Maybe if the fabric had a little more flow and volume the look would be more impactful.

  6. This is not a good dress for the Queen: to “ common”.
Love the shoes of Leonor; in my youth the were called Queenies.
The dresses of the princesses: good as usual!

    1. Too "common"? I'm not sure what is meant by this. This is a pre-reception. It isn't a fancy gala. And if a beautiful Carolina Herrera dress is common, then, holy cow.

    2. A Carolina Herrera natural silk dress is "common" ... I understand, this is what you wear every day to go to the market in your town. WOW.

  7. What a family showing. Leonor with her kitten heels and boho dress. Sofia with her beautiful Letizia like dress. Letizia with that beautiful dress I fell in love with the first time she wore it. And of course, Felipe as handsome as ever.

    1. Hi Chel!! I do do agree with you, give me a common CH dress any day I’ll take it , no questions asked.
I like everything about this dress, loved it the first time when she visited with Prince Charles in London as well as the other 2 times that she has used it. The cut and silhouette is very flattering to her figure as it defines the waist but gives volume in the hip area, and the fabric pattern is not your granny’s print, although I agree with Ann above it does look a little stiff, but I seems to hold beautifully unwrinkled. The girls look lovely as usual.

  8. Love this dress on Queen Letizia. Infanta Sofia’s dress is great but I’m less enamoured of Princess Leonor’s—- too many layers and unexciting colour. Her shoes are lovely though, making the outfit so much more grown up. The King looks good as always 😀

    1. Those "layers" are called "volantes" in Spain and are very common, mainly in the South.

    A really wonderful family.

  12. I like all the looks but Leonor's probably excites me the least, it washes her out a bit.

Yet again the Queen just knocks it out of the park - this dress is beautiful and she looks amazing.

I very much like Infanta Sofia's red dress - she looks lovely.

find over the top fawning of someone who wears a nice dress is a bit hysterical.....
