Prince Joachim was discharged from the University Hospital in Toulouse

Prince Joachim and Princess Marie have offered their thanks to all those who cared for the prince during his time in hospital
On Monday evening, 3 August 2020, Prince Joachim of Denmark was discharged from the University Hospital in Toulouse, France, where Prince Joachim underwent an operation for a blood clot in the brain a week earlier.

It is now the assessment of the doctors that the Prince’s health has improved to such an extent that His Royal Highness can be discharged. Prince Joachim is now residing at Chateau of Cayx. Prince Joachim and Princess Marie have offered their thanks to all those who cared for the prince during his time in hospital.
