On Thursday, 27 August, Prince Gabriel, Duke of Dalarna visited the Säterdalen nature reserve to see the first of two gifts the people from the area gave him as a christening gift in 2017. The first gift was “Prince Gabriel’s Rest Area” and the second gift was “Prince Gabriel’s Ski Trail” intended for children in Koppången’s nature reserve in Orsa.
Prince Gabriel, Duke of Dalarna officially opened the rest area, which is now open to the public. Also joining the royals for the opening of the rest area was Dalarna’s governor Ylva Thörn, Säter’s municipal councilor Mats Nilsson and municipal director Marita Skog.
While there, Prince Gabriel painted a birdhouse with his parents which is now on display alongside a bench his parents received as a gift for their wedding in 2015. It is located in the bird village area.

ردحذفI don't know if we noticed the same change but I miss Sofia's big smile which radiates happiness. Maybe lack of royal duties has such impact on her because I think she loves to be a member of royal family and she loves to do all work for royals. Anyway she looks lovely ank Gabriel is a sweety.

حذفWhat a little cutie! He is a mini-Sofia. Beautiful family. I wonder where Alexander is. Carl Philip needs to ditch the black socks. I'm not loving Sofia's hair. I'm not sure if she gets highlights or balayage but the transition from her dark roots to lighter pieces could be softer and more natural. Her make-up looks lovely and natural.

It looks more like she has decided to stop colouring (or would you say in this instance de colouring since it was lightening it) her hair and it is just growing out. That is a very tedious process since hair grows roughly 1 to 1,2 cm per month.

حذفIt’s a darker brown. Balayage when done properly looks great. The application of the color results in a dimensional and natural look. Sofia has either stopped coloring her hair or it’s been awhile between appointments.

حذفI believe the Princess is actually quite fair naturally and used to dye her hair darker.

Prince Carl Philip's seems to have got his colour combination and fashion trends all wrong. But men have more leeway with fashion (and mistakes) than what women have.
حذفHis trousers are tight leg fitting, cut off short and should be worn without sox. A style made popular by male adolesants over the last couple of years. If he's trying to have a young and trendy look, he should get some professional advice. Even with his fashion mix mistakes, it doesn't deter his look as a very handsome Prince.
On second thoughts, if Prince Carl Philip wants to have a cool, trendy fashion image, he should just get in touch with his cousin, the young Prince Nikolai of Denmark. Prince Nikolai has had a contract with a male modeling agency in Denmark which has led him into fashion shows as a top model for famous brands such as Dior, Blueberry and other notable names. Problem solved.
حذفWhat a marvellous gift to give on his Christening day. This looks to be a Beautiful peaceful place to visit. They are a lovely family. I particularly like the photo of father and son, sitting on Dad's knee, nice! Little Gabriel is a real little cutie, he looks so much like his lovely mum.

ردحذفSuch a cute little boy. So I didn't pay close attention to Sofia looking sad until I read comments and went back to the photos. I did notice they didn't not hold hands. Sofia places her hand on his knee but he kept his and the standing up and sitting down photos they weren't holding hands either. I don't want to read too much into this but I hope they're not having problem. They used to be some touchy feely couple.

They did several activities and there is like one photo from all of them. They are a very good looking family. I don’t see any problems. Sofia has her volunteer work with project playground and the hospital. And her two boys. Carl Philip has his businesses and his race car driving. Busy family. Gabriel looks like his pretty mama. Very nice visit to his duchy.
