King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited the Greek island of Milos during their holiday. The King and Queen went for a sail in the Kleftiko area on a speedboat driven by King William-Alexander. Afterwards, they toured alleys of the island. Although their visit was kept confidential, some locals recognised the King and Queen and asked to be photographed with them. The King and Queen also visited local tavernas.

  1. For once I don't mind horizontal stripes, lol. Maxima's dress works well as summer holiday wear in a brilliantly sunny locale.

I agree Jane. They look relaxed and on vacation- clearly the lovely laid back/no make-up beach appearance shows their spontaneous and gracious willingness to honor the photo request. Very sweet and she really looks great in so many shades of orange - how appropriate:).

  5. Style très estival pour les deux dont Maxima dans une robe à rayures très solaires ; belle allure du roi qui porte une légère chemise très fraîche !

Its nice to see them looking relaxed. The dress is ok. Always get the impression that Máximas off duty clothes choice are quite different from the formal stuff. Least she’s not in a vest top and shorts lol.

Oh, did I miss something? Corona time is obviiously over without me noticing....apart from that, M looks flamboyant as ever. Frieda.

  10. The dress is lovely, but the clutch is all wrong. It´s a mismatch colourwise, and it´s too formal stylewise. Which tourist takes a clutch to a taverna?

What happened to wearing masks? He has it in hand, she does not appear to have one. Social distancing is out, with a man's around around her. tsk tsk tsk

    1. Because they know this has been all a big overblown flu season and well people don’t need to wear masks!

Very foolish actions to not have a mask on or social distance. What a poor example. YES, NC citizen, people who may feel well but be asymptomatic can pass this virus to others especially with no mask on and no social distancing. Thousands have died and will continue to die due to stupid ideas like yours that are not based on any scientific knowledge whatsoever!

  12. You can hardly call it sailing, it is a speedboat. No sails, just motor.

  14. Queen Maxima is wearing the lovely ethno-style "Ayta"-dress designed by Ulla Johnson: https://www.farfetch.com/at/shopping/women/ulla-johnson-midikleid-mit-print-item-14786017.aspx

I agree with Anon 9:02 pm about the missing social distancing. This is important everywhere also during vacations.

  15. Not usually a fan of horizontal stripes on dresses for anyone but this is really summery and flattering on Queen Maxima. Agree with Anon 4:42 that the King looks shabby. The beard and the crumpled outfit make him look like a vagrant

Seems like a nice tour. The king has though been looking 'shabby' for quit some time. Is he drinking, or..?

  19. Horrible y desafortunadas fotos en plena pandemia. Solo demuestran que no les importa nada más que ellos.
Máxima horrible. Su sentido de la moda es pésimo y ni hablar del marido...
