    Princess Kiko's strange hairstyle…

  2. Très joli teint de porcelaine de la princesse Kiko ; j'aime beaucoup ses boucles d'oreilles en perles qui s'accordent bien avec la couleur de sa toilette !

  4. She would push Masako in front of moving bus in a New York minute if she thought she could get away with it.

I can't help but agree, although it has little to do with her fashion style -:) Her face tells the story.

  5. Very nice photos of this attractive, dignified couple and their handsome son (who is looking more grown up all the time). I hope that in the near future we'll get an update on what daughters Mako and Kako have been doing, too.

Princess Kiko's dress is beautiful -- and the Japanese ladies have such wonderful posture!

Honestly I don't understand why anyone would think that Princess Kiko resents Empress Masako.

Honestly, you can read it by the look at her face when she is near the empress: she, Kiko, is the one who has provided the heir, so in her ( Kiko's) eyes - she must be the top woman in the Japanese court.

    2. Anonymous at 6:57, I honestly (oh-oh there’s that word again ;-) haven’t observed any unpleasant look on Princess Kiko’s face when Empress Masako is nearby, but if you have observed such a look then we just have had different experiences.

  6. Too bad Japan doesn't recognize women as heirs and even take their royal titles away when they marry a commoner.

Pity that it most likely won't change. If I were the imperial couple I would have done all I can to educate and showcase my daughter as a person worth having the right to be an empress. :P
