  3. Même si c'est un bel imprimé fleuri, je verrais bien Letizia avec des couleurs plus vives car elle nous a habitués à mieux. Sympa les espadrilles dont elle doit avoir un grand choix !

Very nice - love the muted colours of the print, the style, the flow.

Great that she often wears normal clothes. Perfect ambassador for Zara and its sales market. I have often been inspired by her, I bought the black cape blazer without sleeves, only with arm slits. Frieda

Funny the model reminds me on Littlehouseintheprarie but Queen Letizia not.

  8. This is a lovely, feminine dress, though I am not a fan of elasticised waists.

    1. Agree quite feminine dress, a good choice in the Zara collection and it fits her very well. Letizia takes care of choosing her outfits among all categories.

Amazing! The mural is a perfect backdrop for today's choice of dress. Well done.

I find the shoes a bit clunky with such a light, floaty dress, but Q. Letitia does have very slim legs which makes the contrast more obvious. (V.M.)

  11. It's a really lovely dress, and Letizia wears it beautifully -- but those clunky shoes paired with such a delicate garment make me cringe.

The dress is nice, but those shoes are horrible. They really do look ugly combined with the dress.

  13. I agree with everyone about the shoes. These clunky wedges never really look good, especially when viewed from the side. When you see them from the front, they look more delicate than there are, and that´s the view you get when looking in the mirror. They trick the wearer. I think wedges can work with sporty outfits of sturdy fabrics, like denim or corderoy, but with delicate designs or formal wear - no. And plateau wedges never work in my view. Letizia, Kate and Mathilde seem very fond of their wedges, and ironically, they have the least suited bodies for that type of shoe as they all have slim legs and a slender frame. Amalia looked alright in her wedges, she´s got the right body type, wore a more casual dress and was walking on grass so the thick soles didn´t show as much.

    1. Vanessa, you make a very good point about the importance of body type in the equation. It's something I had a hard time accepting when I was a teenager and longed to wear the miniskirts and minidresses that were all the rage at the time. Nobody told me they just did not work with my body type -- it was the mirror that told me. A hard lesson, sometimes, but a valuable one imo 🙂.

  14. In brief---the dress is lovely, the shoes are ugly and don't go well with the dress.
